dont hate on Whitechapel just because they may have had a bad show once and Dirge Within managed to do well. Thats not a reflection of them in their entirety, i personally have Whitechapel in my top 5 even though critics have labeled them as a very standard deathcore/metalcore band. I still think they are great.

And they all have things in common, like bringing new metal material to all of the metal family (New and old,) making everyone half deaf at the end of every show, and carrying out metal's legacy, no matter what generation of music you're from. It's only a matter of time before Dirge Within reaches the top. I saw them about a week ago in Worcester, MA. I got the opportunity to talk with the band during Chimaira. The Autographed my ticket. I personally told them that if they keep writing the way they did on their first album, they'll have no problem reaching the top. On a lower note, White Chapel totally sucked ass and I don't care what any of you say! Go ahead, start your bitchin' little girls.

dude i was at that show! i also met Dirge Within! i caught one of their setlist sheets when i was front row (which i was the whole night) and yes Whitechapel sucked dick live! Chimaira was sick but Trivium was amazing. Trivium and Dirge Withing were both amazing! i also met Trivium after they played.

But i'll give you respect cause i've debated with alot of whitechapel fans and they are strong for their love for them, whitechapel is good, but there just not the greatest band around, dethcore is decent but too many of the bands sound the same, I do like a couple of whitechapel songs, but I'm a bigger Dirge Within fan than whitechapel fan.
