  • I know the feeling all too well. I am 25 and I've been stuttering since i was 7. Growing up was pretty bad because I kept to myself to keep the teasing to a minimum but now as an adult I'm finding more people think its cute. I wish that was the case when i was little. But i can't wait for a cure or some technique or medications to make speaking easier.

  • She's hot though

  • Man I feel for her. I got all that shit in middle school

  • 1:05 where it pans back to him and his face is the funniest thing I've seen all day while she was stuttering. Thank you for this humor

  • I stutter too and I thought mine was bad. I only stutter if i'm nervous or if i'm around people I don't know.

  • This has been happening to me off and on lately.

  • Most of the people that're not stuttering will never understand us.They'll make fun out of it and I just hope I could cure mine.

  • @nalditwisterron I pray that you're stuttering will heal one day and all of ours will too. Just remember you're not alone and always turn towards God...

  • @nalditwisterron i just want you to know that, no matter how hard it must be for you people, there are people who care out there. not all of us are ignorant, so i just want you guys to stay strong, always, please and never give up, nothing is impossible, you have to keep trying. and even if you do or don;t believe, i'll still pray for all you, the whole world in fact. that's all i can do for now, but it's never to late. and true i dont understand, but i feel your pain, i think i understand a bit

  • i hate when i stutter in my basketball practice and my coach acts like im speaking a foreign language to him.

  • Stuttering is verbal and spoken suicide..how anyone wants to live like this is beyond me....I suffer the same fate as Rebecca--can't talk..cant afford a speecheasy, I don't feel truly loved by anyone and people are telling me not to end my life..but they have no idea how much I suffer every day..i just want out...I would love Rebecca so much if I could see her..and all stutter dudes I bet would too..

  • I hope u get better

  • Check out this video I made of my journey to overcome it watch?v=MbUdd5BH8fk

  • i stutter but the weird thing is i don't when i sing. Ive stuttered since about 2nd grade also. i hope that doctor finds a cure i want to talk normal again

  • @sk8ki Sing instead of talking.

  • @EnfantdAlgerie Ive tried that but after awhile it my throat starts to hurt really bad and i get a headache but thanks. pplus being in high school u cant really sing in class ive tried teachers realy annoyed

  • I appreciate you posting this with the comments you did about making people think twice before judging someone. I always have compassion and smile at others who may struggle with such things they have no control over. It makes me appreciate how blessed I am and not be so worried about having a bad hair day. I wish people would stop being so harsh against others and be accepting and just smile.

  • I stutter also... Its pretty bad... Makes me feel different than everyone else.. Im a freshman in highschool and everyone always gives me crap for it. If you make fun of someone that stutters please stop... Its very hard on us and we cant do nothin about it

  • My friend is so too :(

  • Oh no no no nooooooo i dont wanna b like this thnk god im less .. I stutter but not like this THAAAANK GOD !!! but do any1 know the solution or treatment ? Pleaaaase

  • @unbreakable149 you're an ass

  • I have the speech easy for sale. I was a horrible stutter victim until I got this device. I used it until I didnt need it anymore. It changed my life and I thank God for bringing me the device. Now I want to help someone else who has the same curse as I did. I have it for sale on Ebay right now. My user name is faith-without-limits

  • My dad has a stutter and when he was a child in the late 50's/60's not much help was around. He didn't get any help or treatment, he was able to control it mostly and you would never notice it. I think people should be more respectful to someone with a speech impediment, having a father who stutters has allowed me to grow up with a respect for differences.

  • I was a stammerer too till the age of 27; in Delhi I took the speech therapy at AIIMS. I got these main lessons from AIIMS and my life experience: 1.Accept that you are a stammer, the more you scare to speak more you will stammer. 2. Now, try to speak with less stammering. As per AIIMS therapist: First, take deep breath and then speak slowly, develop this new style of speaking.Do yoga, try to be away from stress, anxiety.I am leading stammer free life in US for last 6yrs.Message MeTo know more.

  • I have to stutter for a scene I'm doing, and the director told me to research stutterers. This is completely heartbreaking, and I'm so glad I watched it.

  • And i thought i stuttered a lot. She's very brave to come on tv and do this. God bless her soul.

  • the man that interview her look lik he boutta laugh

  • @hiitscaitlinn I'm sorry but w-w-w-w-h-hat the fuck did you just say?

  • @mcmuffinone Nice

  • Yup I have the same problem

  • This is sad. :( I wish I was able to find a lifetime cure for Stuttering.

  • I don't stutter when I speak in other language. My main problem are the words that start with "tr".

  • I used to be like this, a long road of self discovery I think helped me pretty much cure it.

I was only just thinking I should do a video on things that I did to overcome it. Dont lose hope people, you are your best weapon to fight this thing!

  • @madvk308 what did you do, i need all and any advice

  • @ricandragon3 Im in the process of making a video, outlining what I did to overcome it, stay tuned

  • @ricandragon3 I am uploading a video right now with the methods I used to stop stuttering, its 1.5Gb lol so it might take a while, check it out when its up!

    Take care

  • Being a male stutterer is harder than being a female stutterer. For instance, if you want to ask a girl for a date or something and you begin to stutter she may perceive you as a person of low self-esteem, and women don't like that.

  • @nastyblacky Very true dude I'm a bad stutter mystelf and thats happened before stopping it is all about conferdance .

  • i stutter. im 14 and i feel as if i would have more friends if i didn't :p i am soooo jealous of people who can just talk easily. i can't say certain things without sounding like an idiot. even in 9th grade, i still encounter people who will tease me about it, and it hurts. i feel like i can't communicate. if i could have one wish it would be that i could stop stuttering

  • @hiitscaitlinn i know exactly how you feel...:(....I'm a 15 year old boy, and ive had a stuttering problem my whole life....its miserable, and like you, i wish it would go away.....i feel that some people view me differently because of it..:(...the worst part is when i have to do oral presentations in class....like i would rather die that go through all that...haha...but yeah, i just wanna let u know that ur not alone...:) .... stay strong and dont let stuttering keep you from enjoying life

  • @supahotmusicboi i'm 15 too(: and yes i know exactly how you feel about the whole oral presentation thing and about everything else! and thanks<3

  • @supahotmusicboi well i just turned 15 three days ago..hahah

  • @hiitscaitlinn im in the exact same position youre in. I know how you feel

  • @90GrungeHead thanks(:

  • @hiitscaitlinn slowing down when youre talking too fast, and figure out what you wanna say before actually saying it will help. mine actually stopped from practicing those 2 things

  • @AsianHideOut thankyoouu yeah sometimes i do that and it helps a bit(:

  • @hiitscaitlinn i spit on anyone who mocks you...My natural reaction is: Take your time, i ain't going no where....im listening. You are no better and no worse than people who don't stutter, you are equal....

  • @EnfantdAlgerie thankyou<3

  • @hiitscaitlinn I hope you recover by yourself ...I have also seen few videos of speech easy device and they show it working nicely.

Speech easy is bit costly, but I hope using it a therapy combined with practice will enable you to speak without stuttering and without device.

  • @hiitscaitlinn I Feel so bad! Did you ever tell someone you had "problems"? Maybe they'd be more sympathetic

  • @xxMultiActionxx yeah the only person that i tell is my best friend so she understands. but sometimes some of my other "friends" make comments about it and it sucks. but thanks<3

  • @hiitscaitlinn BE COURAGEOUS I STAMMER AS FOR ME THE WAY I GROW OLDER IT'S THE WAY IT BECOMES CHRONIC IN MY SYSTEM.BECAUSE OF THE STUTTERING I CHANGED MY FIELD OF STUDY WHEN I'M IN CLASS I SPEAK RARELY TO THE TEACHERS SOMETIMES I STAMMER LIGHTLY SOMETIMES HEAVILY DON'T BE ANGRY WITH PEOPLE THAT MAKE FUN OF YOU CONTROL YOUR TEMPER NO ONE WOULD WANT TO BE TEASED AT IT' S MY LITTLE ADVICE

  • @jallohabubakarr thanks for the advice(:

  • @hiitscaitlinn You're not alone, there's many of us, so you should always remember that and always pray for help, its always there...

  • @hiitscaitlinn i can't do anything else but to pray for you, i feel really bad, but not all of us are like that. there are people who care, the lots of them i hope you see and find happiness. i just recently learned about this, and even though i dont have i can feel some pain, it must be really hard but you have to stay strong. stay strong friend, nothing is impossible.

  • @NIGHT2PWN thank you<3

  • Stuttering is very difficult, I have suffered from this sense 1st grade, People stare at me because they think Im mental or such, Its horrible. I recommend people would stop teasing them. Its not any help on us, k.

  • It's so hard to understand. I have a speech impediment and I hate it how people look at me and wait when we are in a conversation and when they began to talk they say things so easily

  • Stu stu stu stutter!

  • I'd hit it

  • I only stutter when I am in a close relationship. I have learned time after time

that the "creature" in me is "editing out" unexpressed anger and resentment.

It is for me an attempt to mask hostilities that have nothing to do even with the topic of conversation or the person to whom I am speaking.

  • I hate it wen people laff at u coz thy think ur dumb or u say I rather text than call n they think I can't socialise properly.. But u see I'm not as good looking as some these guys which makes me feel sorry for them so much more coz I kno if they didn't stutter every1 would fall for them so easily x

  • You I hav a stuttering problem aswell not that bad ofcourse usually i can speak fine its just wen im confront new people or people that i respect alot that i have a terrible stutter..I sure understand her pain n frustration.. It helps me wen I see people problem to get by because iv never known people that stutter.. I'm currently studying to become an imam and will the training mainly involves speech making Iv tried countless speech therapy also and I absolutely hate it wen people try tell I'm

  • everyone who stutters should see the move 'The King's Speech'

  • I laughed, you can hate me for it, but know this, i laugh not at her pain, but purely because it triggers something inside me to laugh. Much as seeing a plane crash would shock you and make you sad, this makes me laugh, deal with it. Nobody needs pity, you play with the cards you're dealt and make the best of it.

  • I Stutter Too But only When I'm Smokin' Some Good S***

  • @ThisIsLochness How ignorant.

  • @Girlwitfoot Don't be angry

  • @ThisIsLochness Why would I be angry over someone's medical condition, if anything i should be thankful Im not her, but she still deserve respect. Put your self in her position.

  • @Girlwitfoot I am not making fun of her, sorry if you thought so :-) .. Just trying to make it less of a problem and more usually. By adding a Joke that says we smokers also Stutter

  • i never see a stutterer speaking in english, i'm from uruguay

  • I was always made fun of throughout school. I still stutter alot but instead of stuttering sometimes I try to find another word to say in that instant. I hate when people think I'm stupid just because I stutter, so what. I've learned to live with it, at least God gave me the gift to speak

  • shes gorgeous

  • I know a guy who has a stuttering problem too and people would laugh at him all the time

  • I understand what she's saying and feeling when she says it's frustating because I get REALLY frustrated when I stutter. But I mean, I've just aceepted it and I have ways that I can kinda control it.

  • Yeah i stutter but you can control it if you breath and relax

  • poor lady :l

  • the worst part of this is shes pretty and i know if i ever met her, i wouldnt be able to control myself ,id laugh right in her face

  • Well she can give me an oral presentation any day.... stutters welcome.

  • I have this weird thing with my anxiety disorder that sometimes when I'm anxious and trying to talk to someone I sometimes stutter, it's only happened to me about 10 or so times in my whole life. It's weird.

Oh by the way, she's is so darn gorgeous.

  • She is soooo pretty. But I feel bad for her

  • i have a stuttering problem

  • @GiantBlackPenis dude is anyone else seeing this ? such a heartless prick, you really are going to hell... make sure to say hey to your mother while your down there, your one fucked up person.

  • @kcbszone hell doesn't even exist you dumb cunt. go suck your imaginary guy in the sky off. later, loser.

  • Shes cute idc even care if she stuttering

  • how to fix them

calm down dont speak to fast

    speak slowly

say 1 word wait 10 secs and go

  • You are a very brave young woman and I have high hopes for you. I have struggled with my speach fluency since child hood. Although some times it complicates your day to day life be proud of who you are and what you do. Thankyou for making this video although you may not see the direct actions of this video the world is slowly starting to change and except people like us. My name is SPC David Turner and I am a proud combat medic for the united states army. Never be ashamed of who you are.

  • mine is worse :(

    don't know wat to do.....

  • I use to have a stutter untill i believed in myself... what you goto do is slow down your speech, think what your going to say in your head before you say it, most stutterers, like me once... use to just try and go straight in with the answer, not saying it in their head first, not asking themselves, is it the correct answer. i use to be like that, untill i done that :)

  • She should just pretend she is deaf and stick to sign language

  • I stutter a little bit. Doesn't happen that often though.

  • I stutter sometimes, it's not a bad as hers.

  • SWAGG!

  • I had a very bad stuttering condition when I was a child, but I grew out of it only b/c I realised that in order to talk w/o doing it I mustn't get excited but to calm down and speak slowly. The only time I might resort back to stuttering if I get really excited and lose my cool, other than that I've learned to control it 95% of the time.

  • That Fucking reporter is a beast. i tried my hardest to keep a straight face but i have to at least smile. this motherfucker is cold blooded.

  • Ha ha lol this is so funny! I love stutterers! It's like they are born to entertain normal people like me!

  • @phillydogg1 you are sick

  • @accord911 I know tee hee!

  • wow, she's BEAUTIFUL!

  • @Kelz06081984 ehh

  • @Kelz06081984

    Some stutterers are angels!!

  • that must suck. that's the worst thing I've seen all day.

  • stuttering is not because of self confidence. Low self confidence can be a result of stuttering instead of being otherwise. Kids can be cured at an early age if they live in a society where they are not ridiculed. Probably, Rebecca encountered crazy and insensitive people at an early age which lead her to stammer more. And stammering can be a vicious circle, once you get into it, it can worsen. I'll say CAN, because you can lessen it by your will power or shit like that. I have failed so far.

  • i love my boyfriend

  • i stutter but not to this extent, an easy way to stop it is to talk slowly like ur a dumbass lol its stupid but it works perfect

  • Speech therapy by professional speech therapist can help. In India I have seen many ex. stammerer quack without training in speech language pathology run stammering care, stammering cure center, speech therapy center. They will say I went for speech therapy and did not work and than I developed my own technique to trap the innocent stammerer.some time their few technique may be useful as they have already consulted speech therapist. Many of clients are victim of such quack.

  • I use to do that in first grade. It pissed me off so much!

  • I thought stuttering has got to do with self confidence..... But she's pretty

  • I stutter myself, it took me years to not be afraid to talk to people! I give this young girl so much gratitude! Everyone is different, god created us all with flaws but it's up to you to learn to overcome it and to live with it! Also this girl is beautiful! -Mike

  • I'm going to hell for laughing >.<

  • HAHAHAHAHHAHAHA KILL URSELF

  • @Xx12yearoldhacksxX what is wrong with you?

  • Well, I stutter since I was 8. Then I got really scared and I started to stutter, despite I had a wonderful diction. I don't know can it be cured at all or is the problem only in my mind. What she has, is just terrible, I stutter much much more less, but I would do anything to get rid of it.

For me it happens when I have to read something aloud ( and that's the worst, because we have to make projects in school and tell about them later). It can also happen when I have to tell something long.

  • I have the smallest smallest stutter....and i mean literally the smallest stutter. I really pisses me the fuck off when it happens...it usually happens when I'm trying to explain a story or anything like that, and theres lost of information to be said, and I try to say it all at once but end up fucking up and stuttering. It also happens when Im talking to someone, lets say a teacher, and there other students in the class listen, and it makes me a little nervous, so i end up stuttering a little.

  • FUCK stuttering! im SICK of stuttering! people laugh, and its very hard to get a job!

  • @Vamp6661 visit this Facebook page called Stutter Club. Me and few other stutterers shared our experience about how we control it

  • @giriisindahouse thanks

  • hahaha i beated so many guys in school when they laught at my stutting when i was anger xD

  • I've stuttered since I was 9 years old..I am 22 now..though my speech has improved it still bothers me..on top of that I have mild cerebral palsy too so no matter i get awkward stares..when I was younger I would get teased because of my stutter and it was so horrible but now I think I've accepted my stutter and myself as I am and I'm ok with it. :)

  • she should look into this new device called speech easy, and it is amazing, i have seen people completely stop stuttering. They put this little device in there ears, and it helps them stop it awesome look it up!

  • Boy, do I know what your saying. I've stuttered most of my life, bad. I'm 42 now and stutteribg is no longer my main problem. The aftermath, of pain and frustration from stuttering, included alcohol and drug abuse, hyper sensitivity and anxiety and depression. It's been along road and people( including my mom) will never understand the pain WE endore on a everyday basis.

  • there is hope, my dad beat his stutter SO CAN YOU!!!

"would you like to know more?"

  • @ItalianBandit

ok your dad is chuck norris

  • It is a disorder...Fortunately, there are some good therapies that can be found online. One can be found on naturaltherapyforstuttering. -c-o-m.

  • such a cute girl i feel bad

  • @Quan7kyle So if she weren't cute, you wouldn't feel bad? Such a disorder is devastating on anyone, 'attractive' or not.

  • I feel for her i do stutter myself i had it since i was born i inherited from my dad side The teasing was mild in k - 2nd grade cause everybody never understood my stuttering then in 3rd grade was the day i came home cryin this cycle repeats over of the course of 5 years after those time i developed a short temper issue from all the stress which made school worse, now im 14 and tonite i cried agn from my mom said to me "Why are you my son" so i strolled through some videos to help me out it work

  • I feel so bad for her.... I got a vasectomy cuz I have a stutter I inherited from my mom and her family. It's always been a social handicap for me. So, I don't have or want kids of my own. I don't want to risk having them suffer through life being teased horribly like I did. It would break my heart!

I just wish others would do the same if they really want to stop the gene from spreading. Same thing goes for other inherited diseases and disorders. Break the goddamn cycle!

  • @MaverickAC69 Dude, that makes me really sad...on top of this video. My son is autistic and like stuttering, he can't help it. I can't imagine what people with this disorder feel like, because "frustration" seems so minute to the struggle that is obvious with people who know what they want to say, but cannot express it as quickly in a vocal manner. I don't agree with you that people should "sterilize" themselves, so the gene won't be passed on, but I definitely can understand why one does it.

  • stuttering is not a disorder

  • @MaverickAC69 Wow, that is very extreme of you. Sure, in a perfect world, it would be great if there were no disabilities or diseases, but must you put yourself through (and advocate to others) mass sterilization of people with genetic disorders and diseases? Such an argument reeks of eugenicist logic; and as we all know, diseases and disorders will remain with us always, whether we breed or not. The human genome is always susceptible to disadvantageous mutations -- eugenics never works.

  • shes an attractive girl, and her stuttering doesnt really bother me

  • @ 1:07 The guy who is interviewing her looks at her weird.

  • No known cure? I am fucking screwed :3...

  • Scatman john is an inspiration for all stutterers.

  • omg i thought my stuttering was bad but after i saw this video i had tears in my eyes she is a beautiful lady and i hope the best for her. :(

  • That first girl was pretty :), Anywho, I've been stuttering for about 7 years now. And as you fellow stutterers may know, that when singing we NEVER stutter or it's very very very rare, even when infront of a group of people. So what is it that we do differently when singing from when we speak? Is it simply adding rhythm to our words?

  • people that stutter are not smart and people that drive red cars get more traffic citations than people that don't drive red cars people that have this way of thinking makes somebody stupid

  • @slipknot789able If you want to make a point about stupidity make sure you use immaculate grammar. Just sayin.

  • @coolbji you want me to use immaculate grammar yet you end your comment with just sayin when it should say saying
