The sad thing, for Carville, is that the Dems aren't getting the house back for at least a decade. Since this was a census year and the republicans won a whole bunch of state legislatures and governorships, redistricting will heavily favor republicans. Also keep in mind reapportionment means Texas is gaining 5 house seats this year. Which means 5 more republican house seats in the next congress. States loses seats are heavy dem states.
