Toyotomi Hideyoshi, unassuming, suble, complex. And Tokugawa Ieyasu, calm, patient, calculating. By the time Nobunaga was assasinated and Hideyoshi died, everyone knew Ieyasu would be gunning for the title of Shogun. Remember, Tokugawa never lost a battle in his life.
