  • kill switch and good breaks

  • good brakes good brakes to

  • ScorgeRudess is right. Rapid Acceleration will quickly multiply the force on a tie down strap or anything for that matter.

  • and the crowd goes wild! roller dynos are dangerous lol

  • Wow, what a save! Buy that man a beer!

  • all i can say is OH MY POWER!!!

  • woo hooo woo hooo yeah ha ha ha ha woooooooo yeah hah hah ha woooo hooo wooo hoooo whooooo woooo hooooooo yeah

  • Could have been a lot worse. It only cost them 2 straps and a pair of underwear.

  • DAMN!

  • Wicked.. Great save...

But who the hell was the genius who thought

"Let's put a dyno 4 foot in the air.."

  • Red necks...

  • good save

  • Was a great save! also was the last time that car saw that dyno and they dont even have that one there anymore.

  • @Datman7890 not true....we had it out there the very next year!

  • why do people ALWAYS look away when the good part comes???

  • yeeehaaaaa....duh duh duh...... hilljacks

  • who's got brown jock's?

  • Have you ever seen a bunch of well bred society types do anything that entertaining?

  • Good brakes! :)

  • very cool,nice save!!!!!!!!!!

  • Only rednecks get excited about a car that almost gets knocked off the dyno. Take a chill pill guys, it's not that outrageous.

  • @LOLDISNEYLAND

Maybe they were just happy the car wasn't damaged and nobody got hurt?

  • @CycolacFan yes we were extremly happy that noone was hurt!

  • great save

  • that coulda sucked

  • Thats cool i gues

  • thats some fast ass reflexes...if he wouldve kept on the gas for a fraction of a second more that car wouldve ramped off that dyno lol

  • @rosal2006 yea lol

  • Now that was very flippin cool !!! Fav'd this one...

  • back in the 60's dyno's used chain's to hold a car in place ... do you see why they did ?

  • 0:03

My first clue this wasnt gonna end well lmao

  • NICE!

  • Epic Win !

  • Umm back and front straps would have stopped this

  • Hardly no time to act but you handled it! Nice save!

  • @badVWbug, never knew of them. Thanks, learn something new each day.

  • it wasnt tied down properly maybe the dyno wasn,t rated to take the hp the car put out and now way was it 1000Hp where does it show that on the vid????

  • i think its time for chains

  • how much hp did it pull before it came off?

  • BEAST

  • BEASTY

  • BREAKS WIN!

  • dude such a good save

  • now that quick reactions !!!!!!!!

  • Looks like LINE-LOCK saved him!

Linelock is mainly for drag cars, it locks hydraulic fluid/pressure in the front brake lines only, so that the car can be held in place by the front tires while the back ones are free do a burnout to heat them up. You can see that the front brakes were on constantly here, which suggests line-lock as the sole reason this beast didn't grow wings and soar into the crowd. Good vid.

  • I never get tired of this vid lol talk about some major power xD

  • wow,that was close!

  • Raw Power !!!!

  • wat car is that? looks like the hot rod from the game mafia lol

  • I think they're goin pro in having good straps.

  • hey at least u can stop fast LOL!!!!

  • go go speed racer!

  • BRAKES WORK LOL

  • btw imagine the power the car was put through there body, engine and the driveline when he fell of the dyno wheel :O

  • LOL. Good catch

  • brakes work too :)

  • haha sure looks like it xDD!!

  • wow get r done.. lets not strap it down...

  • You don't see straps?

  • that was the coolest thing i have seen on youtube in awhile.

  • why not strap it only takes 1 minute

  • beutiful save and a beutiful car

  • that bad situation went as good as it could go for a bad situation

  • HAHAHAHA rednecks...

  • yea that happens pretty regular to me in my ford ranger! lol

  • great save

  • @classiccafe1

yeah... almost lost 60 g's or more

  • @classiccafe1 i call EPIC AND COMPLETE SAVE

  • i was there

  • wow.

  • Damn Nice job on the save, but thats why when i do a dyno pull with a HIGH POWER car i use a bunch of straps. The shop i was at had a 1100 Hp drag car and i had 6 3" straps holding it.

  • Nice catch!

  • nice

  • That was sweet man.

  • lol broke the straps

  • ............beasty.. 0_o

  • Ty woe :-O

  • idk about you but that would scare the shot outta me

  • 6" from destruction, bet he dint know he could move his brake foot that fast.

  • Line-lock brother. Front brakes were locked on the whole time. ;)

  • nice save!

  • dammit i wanted that thing to fall off, that old ass 1832 whatever but ill take the engine!!!!

  • loll

  • sounds like a bunch of inbreds

  • it sounds like your family reunions?

  • shud have tied it bether down :p

  • pickin up girls at the mall... please tell me ur 16

  • i was thinking the same thing.

  • ive NEVER understood that, all that horsepower and u cant pickup girls at the mall with it

  • You obviously do not know how a dyno works.

  • If you stupidly increase the speed dont be surprised... This will obviously happen...

  • You also obviously do not know how a dyno works.

  • huuuum.....wether you're going 50 or 300mph on a dynojet doesn't matter anything, what caused the straps to break was torq on this one, get some info on how a dynojet works before blasting away

  • the increase the speed that I am talking about is obviously the torq ¬¬ .......

  • @detroitmansilver92 What caused the straps to break was heat. The exhaust burned through one and the other broke when that happened.

  • think about how the next guy in line felt after seeing that..

  • hahah

  • Their goal was to jump the dyno...i think

  • yeah bit dangerous too high and what was holding the car down no straps?

  • He said he broke the straps.. 0:37 - 0:42

  • I needz teh new pants...

  • jizzed in my pants...

    o_o

  • i know for a fact that it is impossible for any driver to do that.

    and still have clean pants.

  • bad car!!!

  • you need a dyno off the ground liek that so the things can rotate

  • That was SICK! Good catch by the driver btw...He had NO time to react...good job man...and he did put on quite a show for the crowd :)

  • why hava dyno set up like that off the ground???

  • I bet his crimper was puckering then,..lol. Great save.

  • how many straps was holding it down?

  • not enough

  • sketchy

  • "So much torque the chasis twisted coming off the line."

  • nice quote...lol

  • oh wooow. nice sae3 there.....

  • Nice save right there. Must have had his foot ready.

  • what a save

  • Those are some fine brakes.

    Great Save.

  • haha nice! i love hotrods

  • nice save, just before the edge haha

  • nice save

  • my question is why don't they make this a sport? lol

  • Redneck refers to a person who is stereotypically Caucasian (i.e. white) and is of lower socio-economic status in the United States and Canada. Originally limited to the Southern United States,[1] and then to Appalachia, [2] the term has become widely used throughout North America, and to a lesser extent, Australia.

    YEE-HAAA!!!!

  • The term redneck isn't used in Australia mate.

  • @r71cuda you google that?

  • best part is the cheering, lol

  • hahahaah

  • that is some awesome power!!!

  • what i dont get is why everyone is clapping. it almost shot off and killed everybody

  • cause they are all rednecks, they know no better haha

  • I would say cause he stopped it barely from falling off coming at of a 1000 hp launch. Incredible stop.

  • Now THAT is what you call muscle! Sweet ride!

  • Sucra Na hEireinn(Irish sugar) that was quick to react

  • wow, very nice

  • how the hell did he stop that so quick, very nice

  • the only momentum is from the tires spinning so it wouldnt take much to stop it

  • And the million horsepowers

  • Why don't they use chains instead of straps? You would think they'd want low-stretch anyway.

  • lol they wopnt be cheerin and clappin if it came off

  • nice power! it started lame then he really gets on it. props to the driver

  • i would have to get a new pair of pants after that lol

  • one word... DAM!

  • Lucky Bastard!

  • Fast response of the driver. It could be bad.

  • very fast in deed, especially how fast it was moving already.

  • they wouldnt be cheering if someone died or the car is wrecked~ :)

  • well duh...

  • it almost learn how to fly haha

  • Everybody would stop the thing if it was your money (and passion) there.

  • bloody hell!! that guy has good reflexes!

  • Nothin like a near death experience to get the crowd pumped

  • you can see it..

  • Does that damage the car?

  • this differencial is broken ..omfg

  • i didnt/see or hear what you did?

  • Horsepower Sells Cars But Torque Is KING!

    gotta love old school iron.

  • it is simply the beast

  • Fast reactions to stop it so suddenly

  • that fat guy ran over to see his car

  • Id run over to see my car to.

  • wow that was almost ugly

  • damn close call for a nice roadster

  • into the sunset!!! LOL

  • someone got a little too impatient.

  • Would have been cooler if he had just kept flooring it, jumped off, ran thru the crowd, and drove off into the sunset....

  • lmao o my god hahaha

  • that was close

  • you are so rednecks

  • hahaha!

  • omfg this was a close call

  • hot damn!!!!!!! bet the driver nees new pants

  • rednecks..

  • nothin like a big block and a ton of spray!

  • Nice save dyno operator!

  • This is no Coment's xD this guy so lucky

  • Atleast he saved it before he drove it right off the dyno and into a junkyard (Sweet car, would hate for it to have happened anyway).

  • Put the dyno on the ground & you won't have the problem of the driver trying to save the car from jumping off a trailer.
