  • im just not sure why you were willing to shoot through such dense cover...???? thats very wrong and very unethical to do to the animal..... but whatever... nice "second shot"

  • Very nice shot! Don't sweat the haters, it's obvious by watching you are proficient at that range.

  • Thanks for your wonderful comment!! I see your not a true long range hunter, just a field shooter. A small twig can get clipped from a bush hunter resulting in a wounded or lost deer. We were able to watch the deers reaction, this deer was not wounded and we followed the 1st shot up with a clean kill minutes later. Please show me your video of long range hunting, I'd love to critique that.

  • Those shots should have NEVER been taken. There was too much brush in the way. The 1st shot was deflected by a branch which ended up in a wounded animal. By taking unclear long range shots, you are showing that you have absolutely NO RESPECT for the animal! I am a PA hunter and I have taken whitetail from 600+ yards, but they are CLEAR shots. I won't shoot a deer through brush! You disgust me!

  • you must be really camoflaged. I spect you are keeping concealed in order to sneak up on this animal

  • @pseltoro4 yea, how true and defly scent control gotte be an issue!

  • $@&*%^ BEAUTIFUL SHOT !

  • Excellent.

  • youll never win with treehuggers cant appreciate a good hunting video he dropped it and thats all that matters who cares if he did it at 25yrds or 1500 a kill is a kill

  • Great kill, anybody who doesn't like it needs to go to hell, or not that is a personal choice i guess.

  • Thanks for your wonderful comment. Please show me your video of long range hunting., I'd love to see how you professionals do it right. lol

  • Good shooting? Hah, no way! Awful shooting! At 600 yards you realy should hit better than this! Get to the damn range and learn how to shoot!

  • I love all Gods creatures right next to the Mashed potatoes and corn bread.

  • If you follow the wake from the 1st shot you can see it was headed perfect but just clipped a small sapling. Where's your long range hunting videos????

  • learn to shoot. 2 bullets at under 600 yards???

  • Good shooting!

  • This is close for me. The majority of deer I've killed in the past 10 years have been over 1000 yard. I'll never understand why half of you with pissy comments even bother to watch. It's titled Long Range Hunting for a reason, it depicts long range hunting situations. I'll guarantee you that more deer are wounded and not recovered in archery or rifle shots under 100 yards than there are long range. I'm not here to argue if you don't like it move on and take your comments with you.

  • @KevinJCram I concur...excellent shooting! thanks for sharing

  • have some balls and give the deer a chance alittle closer pussy i fought in ww2 the worst scum were the snipers ...cowards that cant look an opponent in the eye

  • u can actuialy see the bullet fly threw the air

  • @thomasvanraay that actually not the bullet you see but the vapour trail created by the bullet in flight.! pretty cool.

  • Small rack. Low hit.

  • like it

  • I hope you are proud of that dork

  • That's way too far away for bowhunting. That makes for a larger margin of error leading to more injured animals than those actually killed on the spot.

  • pretty sure one bullet would of done the job

  • i love long range shooting anyone can miss it happens but i thought for shure you would have killed it one shot , I shot my 09 buck 475 yards with a 7mm RUM. handload 150 noslers lupold 6,5 20 50. just love one shot kills that far. I dont care what anyone says its not something everyone can do. Toby steve

  • I thought you hit him in the shoulder in the first shot it looks like the fur puffs up.

  • It looked llike the first round hit something in front of the deer. Did the round deflect/fragment off a limb that didn't get picked up on the camera? Regardless, 2nd shot was excellent, risky, but dang fine shot. I would've stalked in another couple hundred yds or so to take away so much vegitation...but to each his own, congradulations.

  • are you the guys tht shooot across the highway right below a dam

  • Oh boy, so many experts leaving long range advise. Good shot my man.

  • nice shot! Im a fan of the .30 and .338 mags myself, and no amount of practice or even great equipment eliminate errors. I guess a twig and a mousefart saved him the first time ;)

  • In europe you'd loose your licence for that! Learn how to shoot at short distance!

  • @Esouasset Short range is a gimme shot, learn long range.

  • @Esouasset thats stupid. learning to stalk and get up close may be the challenge but "learning to shoot short distance" is just simple. put it where you want it and done. long range shooting takes a lot more skill than short range shooting.

  • @Esouasset good thing us americans don't live in Europe then huh?

  • @Esouasset good thing we canadians dont live in europe lol. do you guys suck ass there or something.

  • @Esouasset its wracked off here in the uk. air rifles are limited to 12ft/lbs,anything over that were need a firearms certificate and police checks. i'd love a firearm for hunting, hmm a .303 lee enfield would be nice

  • what a bad shot for long range...... i took my first deer at age 15 at 480 yards ONE shot and he was down..... And to make things better the rifle i used was a Savage Arms Model 12 .308 cal 180 grain...... more pratice

  • @BassGuitarKing1 who cares? the deers dead. thats all that matters in the end really

  • u can see the bullet at 0:50

  • Nice shot! Pretty risky, shooting through all those limbs, though. Don't think I'd have tried it, myself.

  • nice... :)

  • Great vid. I see the usual youtube idiots, some jealous, some saying to much gun....hahaha, Id always rather have to much gun than not enough !!! Nice shooting, sounds like some wind in the background, nice judgement !!!

  • looks like fun.

  • that was awsome

  • That is far too big for a small deer like that, even at that range, what was the bullet - something soft I hope? Amax?

  • Where Did The Second Shot hit?

  • I expected the deer to come a little lower and din't have time to adjust the camera, that's why the deer is high in the frame. The bullet struck the deer high on the shoulder and was driven downwards through his chest killing him instantly. Thanks for watching.

  • @KevinJCram Could have sworn I seen him get hit with the first round. Nevertheless, nice shot!

  • vapor trail...nice shot!

  • great shooting

  • Barely legal..

  • Dont like it. Use cans for that kind of shooting.

  • Cans are too easy, they don't move around and offer the challenge that a live animal does. Can you say " I'm jealous"

  • Jealous indeed, Nice shooting dude.

  • @KevinJCram ...besides...cans don't taste as good lol

  • nice shooting! how doe you guys get ranges and shoot through the limbs! keep it up. what cal are you shooting?

  • it says .300 win. mag
