I believe that homosexuality is an abomination unto God as the Bible clearly states but I do not support the death penalty for practicing homosexuals. I believe in the redeeming power of the gospel and that if a homosexual desires to change his/her lifestyle, the power of the holy spirit can transform them. I have seen it. I do not hear anything being expoused by this pastor that would compel the lost to accept the Christ this pastor claims to preach about.

The point, that you so obviously missed, was that these "laws" that you take from the bible are almost all silly and outdated. In this country we believe in freedom and equality. Everyone should have the freedom to love and marry who they want as long as they are both consenting adults. It's not the role of our government to legislate based on biblical principles. Here we follow the constitution.

Oh and speaking of my parents. Truth be told my mother actually married my dad when I was two years old. Since she was technically not a virgin when she was married Deuteronomy 22: 13-21 calls for her to be stoned. Is it still ok to stone her now or is it too late? I also have a friend of mine who says while shellfish is listed as an abomination in Leviticus 11:10, it is less of an abomination than homosexuality. Which is worse?

I agree with you! But I was wondering if you could help me clear up some misconceptions I've been having. So I have this friend of mine who just insists on working on the Sabbath. According to Exodus 35:2 he should be put to death. Am I suppose to kill him myself or should I just call the police? Oh and also my parents were thinking about selling my sister as is allowed in Exodus 21:7. What do you think would be the best price for her in this day and age?

This Alan Colmes guy is so annoying how he asks a question and doesn't allow sufficient time for Pastor Anderson to answer. Constantly interrupting Pastor Anderson and making up his own conclusions with the little he is listening to.
