I agree with Dr. Dyson's statement that if Crowley been a black officer who made a similar error against a famous white Harvard Professor (say for example Henry Kissinger) he would have been placed on extended assignment as a traffic cop. I really don't see why Pres.Obama saw the need to have a so-called 'beer summit'. Can all citizens of police abuse and complaint expect the same? Also, why did all the black cops support Crowley? You shd see the YT series about police being a big "street gang"

However, she is very intelligent and refined so I'm not trying to insinuate that she doesn't deserve her position because she does. However, I feel that Jesse Jackson was trying to say that there are no black news anchors (peole that are unmistakably black) that are on CNN. Technically, Soledad O'brien is biracial not black.

One thing I wished they could have touched on in B.I.A 1 or 2 was Black economics. Many Black problems are related to too much Black poverty. Yet Blacks spend $800 billion a year so why so much Black poverty? Who's benefiting from Black's billions? It's not Black businesses.

As far as changing parents I like what Steve Perry and Geoffrey Canada are doing. The kids they are working with will be different than their parents because they will be better educated and more financially stable than their parents. This better education and the jobs it brings for them will shape how they parent their kids when they have kids.

Public education is all about following orders and taking standardized tests . Education is about mastering subject matter , and our teachers have failed to pass on this crucial notion to their students. And you don't NEED to invest all this money in schools for a school to provide a proper education
