  • I'm all for Ron Paul, but can somebody explain this:

Cut spending 1 trillion, Cut income tax 1,3 trillion. So he has to borrow 0,3 Trillion more per year than Obama. or even if lets say the 0,3 Trillion come from increased consuming (sales tax), he would still have to borrow as much as Obama (1 Trillion per year).

I mean he would have to cut spending 1 trillion and keep the income tax just to balance the budget!

  • BY THE WAY

income tax is constitutionally ILLEGAl because 2 more states were needed to ratify that amendment and it was NEVER met. Also, it says all taxes must be apportioned and the income tax definetly is not. The fact that people keep paying this tax is just absurd to me....freakin 30% of your income to the government? no thanx

  • this old bastard is nuts

  • @ronczselowitzcki Wow not like we barged into your home and made you watch it. I will watch him again and I WILL RAISE UP THE VOLUME just cos you said that

  • Ron Paul is so right on everything!!!! How can you not love him. It's safe to say he has the most informed and passionate followers.

  • @ronczselowitzcki I agree, someone shut ronczselowitzcki up!

  • The comment about switching parties is I think an important announcement that needs to be continued. Many voters still are not aware of the voting laws and how they can be caught unaware by simply not knowing those laws. This poster by repeating this message will probably get through. Ron Paul to some gives the same message too and he is perhaps finally getting heard. Don't give up you diligent and dedicated person. Thanks

  • Тако је. Нећемо порезе на плате. Хоћемо да штедимо на времену запошљавајући људе.Хоћемо мање бирократије и мање папирологије.Свако треба да има једнаку шансу да води послове и да запошљава људе.

  • Why the media always treats Paul as if he were a joke? Geez, american channels seems to be more corrupt than the ones that i see here in Brazil. Shame on the so-called land of Freedom.

  • This isn't a "pie in the sky"...it's common sense. The fed gov only gets a third of their revenue from income tax. They've doubled in 10 years. If they cut out the unconstitutional programs and stop the illegal wars then you have a surplus to bring down the debt. It's not hard to understand or some fairy tale? Businesses wouldn't be forced overseas, you can keep your money.

Vote for Paul in the primary. If you don't care that China will own America then stay home and don't vote in the primary.

  • @mrsparex

It makes perfect sense to me and he's one the 1st people that's running that lays it out so simply and makes it easy to understand!!

Never voted, but he is definitely getting mine!! :)

  • it's not enough to say "VOTE RON PAUL"

PEOPLE NEED TO SWITCH PARTIES 12 WEEKS IN ADVANCE OF THE PRIMARIES IN MOST STATES.

  • no taxes = equality. The poor is caused by people who choose to have low income jobs, no because the rich is stealing all the money from the poor. And this is what the government is doing - creating more inequality than ever before because they are rich bastards

  • 1913-2013: Dark age in America

  • So is Ron Paul for the Fair Tax? I really hope he doesn't plan to get rid of all revenue for state and federal govenment. Hard for them to pay teachers, police officers, fire departments, etc, if they don't have money coming in.

  • having taxe raises to pay off the debt would be beneficial. But if the govt is so broken, both sides can't man up and take responsibilities then that isn't gonna work.

  • 100% WOW! U never hear a politican come out and say anything specificly, thats why Ron Paul is the man.

  • Islamic empire only used a 2.5% tax for a millenium, and the Ottoman Empire was the strongest entity in Europe for centuries. They didn't have a ridiculous 30-35% income tax and did perfectly fine. I don't see why we have to pay so much in taxes when other nations have shown that it isn't needed.

  • @chaosbringer127 That's exactly right. It's only needed when your govt. spends way too much like ours does. It's about time we cut these idiots off. Lets stop feeding these trolls with our money!

    Ron Paul 2012!

  • RevolutionPAC is gathering any contributions for Ron Paul's campaign today! Yes, September 19th. Donations start at $10.. please consider! or thumbs up!

  • I wonder if the host asking the question like Dr. Paul's answer?

  • what 100%? He must be crazy.

  • @dduras

Why is he crazy? It's much more conducive to tax people when they SPEND their wealth (sales tax) not when they accumulate it (income tax)

  • @CrimsonFlameRTR Uhhh lemme see... a few things come to mind... The sales takes would have to be close to 25 percent to compensate for the lack of income tax, that will do alot to boost spending in the open market. Oversea's or online purchases will take over and shut down stores because it will be a lot harder to track taxes on E purchases. The black market would explode leaving the Federal government out of the revenue stream.

  • @KevinBlock123 Democrats can vote in primaries too.. Are you saying we have to switch republican JUST to vote for one? God, I hate politics. Such party-based closeminded bullcrap when we're all claiming to be free-thinking independent people..

  • Let's pray to god he's elected president... otherwise, let's just say things are going to end bad.

but im not complaining lol good thing that you tell them about this..

sadly i think people still buy into this "ron paul cant win" crap.. and they still dont see that nobody else has a real movement..

  • @7BillionColours If Obama could win, i think Ron Paul can pull through with REAL change.

  • @KevinBlock123 hey, thanks! i'm an independent so i can't vote in the primaries! ok, i'm going to register republican, RP 2012!!!

  • @KevinBlock123

You don't have to be a registered Republican to vote GOP in EVERY state.

  • @CrimsonFlameRTR You missed the part where it says MOST states.

  • @KevinBlock123

That shows how corrupt the system is.

By law, you can vote for ANYONE YOU WANT ON ELECTION DAY.

But by this system, the vote is cast 12 weeks before the primaries, for all practical purposes.

That is CONSTRUCTIVE DEPRIVATION OF THE VOTE.

  • When you get your pay check half of it's gone already. The King takes tax from the Nobles, the Peasants pays the Nobles. If you think about it there are Fed tax 15 to 20 percent, State tax 5 to 10 percent and don't for get more taxes any purchases. Personally I like the King scenario better.

  • @TripleX2go Stop exaggerating >_>

"The king's cheese is 9/10 wasted; but no matter, it's made from the PEOPLE'S milk."-- Ben Franklin

  • Ron Paul - the man !!!!!!!!!!!

  • Theft is wrong, unless you're a government of course.

  • only government employees should have to pay an income tax. they should pay a flat rate tax with no deductions.

  • @fudgedogbannana

    Wouldn't that just be a pay-cut?

Doesn't make sense to make them pay their employer out of their paycheck!.

  • @SovereignStatesman They may not be so quick to create more ways to spend if they had to pay for it themselves.

  • @fudgedogbannana

Yeah like they'd pass it in the first place.

You really think we're living in a democracy?

Fine, tell me-- what would happen if 100% of voters demanded something, without jumping through government-hoops?

    Answer: NOTHING.

We DON'T live in a democracy.

We live in an oligarchy of 545 ruling officials, and a plutocracy that buys their elections and appointments.

  • @SovereignStatesman No, they wouldn't pass it, we'd have to pass it under threat of revolution.

  • @fudgedogbannana

We already HAD the revolution in 1776; now we just have to assert what that accomplished, i.e. that each state is a sovereign nation unto ITSELF-- NOT a single nation among them all.

Then, the PEOPLE of each state can resume their status as joint ruling sovereigns.

Until then, nothing will really matter.

  • Robin Hood was a thief.

  • A lot of people posting here seem to think that the income tax is the only tax the government collects. If only that were the truth! Income tax is around 40-45% of the government revenue. Combine less revenue with drastically less spending (Ron Paul favors cutting in to or eliminating many federal agencies) and we can reach a balanced budget quickly. I also have the feeling that balancing the budget will get done before elimination of income tax, for many reasons.

  • @RonDukeSilverSwanson

That's NOT how things work in our system-- which is an empire, not a republic.

Politicians cater to special-interests through lobbying, regardless of the effect on the majority-- that's called "factionalism."

And the present voters are likewise a faction against future generations, who have no real voice-- so the current Congress have no problem borrowing freely on credit that isn't theirs.

And that's why the US will collapse-- like ALL empires.

  • it is a system of plunder,we still are paying for world war II,an excise tax when you purchase tires for your car enacted in 1941,monthly service charges on your utilities Gas, Electric, water,to establish service monthly, with the inflation tax and all the others you are paying more than 70 % of your earnings to the government, you are a slave!!!break free and vote for freedom vote Ron Paul 2012

  • @1210catman

ALL empires go to war, it's how they sustain themselves. However the US has been an empire since the Jackson Administration; until people face this fact, there is no hope of STOPPING the empire.

    Simple as that.

  • 10 people actually like to pay taxes

  • "Slave tax," "slave to the government," "income tax is immoral."

Man, I'll never understand these kind of ideologies! I'm glad I'm not American.

  • @NightmareCinemaChild We used to tar and feather tax collectors. Today, we put up with way too much.

  • @NightmareCinemaChild

    Ignorance is bliss, I see.

A slave is someone who does not own their own work-product, whether in whole or in part.

Therefore if a person's income is taxed without their consent, then they are a slave.

Of course you socialists wouldn't understand that-- you don't believe in the indivdual, only the STATE.

However this is just a throwback to the feudal state that you claim so greatly to abhor, where the commonwealth was the ESTATE.

  • @SovereignStatesman There are several definitions of a slave, yours being one, but that doesn't atler my view; I guess I'm just quite attached to my superior healthcare and the wonderful things my government has achieved through tax (income tax and otherwise).

Saying "only socialists wouldn't understand that" is foolish; or do you think agreeing is a prerequisite for understanding?

I may be a slave, one with a government big enough to give me everything I want but DOESN'T take it away.

  • @NightmareCinemaChild

    Ah, a teenage parasite.

I have nothing to say to the likes of you.

  • @SovereignStatesman I assume you mentioned my age because you have no valid arguments? Anyway, I think I hear the sound of my superior, universal healthcare, altruistic society, smaller gap between the rich and the poor, longer living and more affluent nation. Cheerio! Keep your "freedom" and proud obsession with sovereignty while we happily give a portion of our wage to those more in need, because in Britain, we realise there's more to life than an income wage.

  • @NightmareCinemaChild

No, because YOU have no valid arguments.

"I may be a slave, one with a government big enough to give me everything I want but DOESN'T take it away."

    That is a FOOL.

  • @SovereignStatesman I was mocking a well known quote. And that still doesn't explain why you mentioned my age? I mentioned various valid arguments just recently, namely the numerous wonderful things governments can achieve with tax (income tax included). Have you noticed that British healthcare ranks far superior to American healthcare whilst costing around 1/3 less of GDP? Is that not a vaid argument or are you too obsessed with "sovereignty" to see obvious state benefits?

  • @NightmareCinemaChild

A quote which I think incredibly apropo here:

    >>In an age where everyone under 30 wants to pour out their wisdom on Facebook, MySpace, Youtube, etc., Jim David has some advice:

“The older you are, you realize a very important thing—that people in their 20s don’t know a goddamn thing,” David declares. “People in their 20s are good for one thing—looking better than people in their 30s and 40s. So, if you’re in your 20s strike a pose... and shut the FUCK up.”"

  • @NightmareCinemaChild

  • register Rep so you can vote for Ron

  • 100% EXACTLY!

  • @40CBeat Tax is stealing? Do you like police, roads, public schools and firemen? Oh, you DO like those things? Well, tax money pays for them. INCOME tax is stealing, but we NEED a certain amount of taxes in order for society to function...

  • @tpstrat14 90% of firefighters are volunteer, the public school system is wasteful unfunded mandates and pays more for administrators than for education, police are another form of taxation with the ticket revenue which do not give us the security it costs, and they protect businesses who should hire their own security the gas tax license, registration etc. should be able to pay for our roads we would not need as many roads if transit systems were allowed to work, auto manufactures lobby against them

  • @1210catman No taxes, huh? Just every man for himself. Donate money if you want to to have things like policeman, right? lol.... nope, there are some things where we need to tax the people. People should obviously know exactly where their tax money is going and I agree with you... most of it is a total wasate. But you can't do away with tax altogether...

  • @tpstrat14 ...how about state tax...unless u are talking about government police

  • @tpstrat14 He's talking about the Federal tax not state .

The first should be replaced by the VAT-value added tax like in EU.Sort of like sales tax already emposed by most states in the Union.

  • @tpstrat14 Policeman should be volunteer just like 99 percent of all fire departments.

  • @OurOxygen Yea, but unfortunately policemen aren't volunteers.... sorry, life ain't fair. That's why we have taxes

  • @tpstrat14 They can be,and also the income tax does not pay for police officers. And life being unfair has nothing remotely to do with taxes.

  • @OurOxygen Income tax is completely wrong. I'll never pay it in my life if I have a choice. You have a right to keep all of your money that you earn. If you buy something and there is an AGREED UPON tax, that is fine. But we must keep in mind that this is exactly what our founding fathers went to war over. England was taxing us without asking us about it! THAT is wrong, but to say we don't need ANY taxes is just as wrong.

  • @tpstrat14 Well I never said we did not need any taxes at all.Sales and gas taxes can pay for everything we need as a "republic" but not as an empire. And I still think policeman should be volunteer, fireman put their lives on the line too.

  • @OurOxygen Agreed. If we feel we need an empire (or if we get tricked into this) then we need to tax the living shit out of the people. If we are OK with simply being happy as a nation and don't require world domination, THEN we can get by on sales tax alone. Unfortunately, the American people are generally retarded and they trusted Bush when he said we need to help the Iraqis by bombing them.

  • @tpstrat14

    ^---------communist troll with 50 screen-names

  • @tpstrat14 state tax..

  • We can never be free so as long as we're slaves to the government. The income tax is a slave tax which gives the government power over the people. In a Constitutional Republic the people should have power over the government. The government should fear the people rather than us now having to fear the government. Elect Ron Paul and reverse the mistake made in 1913.

  • Income tax was never legally ratified, was supposed to be voluntary, was supposed to be 2%, and only on incomes above, I think, $100,000 per year (in 1913 dollars), so now we Americans are getting the break of a lifetime, in Ron Paul. Only someone with no conscience would vote against him. Every time I watch one of these videos about Dr. Paul, it makes my day. Vote for him.

  • Industry can pay workers less the tax, as this money is footed by the employer. Say An american is payed $500 a week and taxed $100 the employer would only need to pay the worker $400 to keep this worker happy. This allows for the business to expand and increased Industry profits are taxable .

This is awesome. In the way government is rewarded for industry growth, Industry is not limited by how tax they have to pay for each worker and sucess is taxed on profits not failure..

  • @Rand0mManic and that idea is why iw otn vote for him, he says he is against corporatism and big business ruling the country, and that figure you just said basically means, the normal american people won't have to pay taxes but they will get payed less money but wont get taxed for it, and give the money to corporations and employers to give them more money while the average person gets no more money than they had before.

  • @Rand0mManic What you're saying is "wouldn't it be awesome to pay a hard working worker $100 less to the Gov.t"?

Wouldn't it be better to pay him the extra $100 to make him or her even happier? And lets say this a person in poverty, wouldn't it be better, to let him or her keep the money to pay for more food or other things him or her know what him or her needs?

  • You must change your affiliation to Republican to vote for Ron Paul in your State's Primary/Caucus!

  • I am excited that Ron Paul will deliver on all his promises.. I support Ron Paul even though I am not American. I do understand how import this upcoming US election is to the rest of the world.

Dont let anything in the past make you people in the US expect less. I am finally happy for America and it does seem like a very bright new future coming.

Think of all the employment oportunities for those who have been excluded by the federal authoritive police regime.

  • @Rand0mManic

"Dont let anything in the past make you people in the US expect less"

    Sure, IGNORE ALL EVIDENCE.

Specifically: THE US ELECTED OBAMA AS PRESIDENT.

A country doesn't do something THAT STUPID, and then suddenly just turn around and do something SMART like electing Ron Paul!

    DOESN'T HAPPEN!

That would be like expecting New Orleans to elect a Republican mayor, after they re-elected Ray Nagin AFTER his fucking up with Hurricane Katrina!

What makes you think US voters can change?

  • @Rand0mManic

Ron Paul needs to get elected before he can deliver, and that will require IQ's in the voter-base to rise by 50 points in 1 year.

Won't happen-- though I WISH I was wrong.

  • The Income Tax is immoral... What's wrong with the fair tax?

  • @ToobLUAR America isn't even in the top 15 of most tax paying countries in the world. What the heck are you complaining about?

  • @LionTroy

Taxes reflect how much government owns you, and we wanna be the most FREE country.

  • @ToobLUAR

You'd have to repeal the 16th Amendment, otherwise you'd wind up with BOTH.

  • ronpaul2012. com donate his campaign now.

  • Ron Paul is a fucking idiot. Cant believe this moron is a doctor. Take away his fucking license.

  • @WKaliberr ,, Why are the dumbest folks always the rudest?

  • @JaxxBat

    Because civility comes from intellect?

  • @WKaliberr - you are truley a loser! you're a milf hunter? why? can't find a girl your own age! the only sex you have is with yourself. You have no clue whats up here in United States! Stick to things like dreaming of doing some ones grandma and leave the Intellectual debate to people that are smart enough to understand Our Constitution. Something you have no ideal what its about. What a Jack Ass! MORON!

  • @WKaliberr Loser. You are hatin' on every single ron paul video..

  • @WKaliberr

Did it hurt when you got dropped on your head as a baby?

  • @CitizenOfMinasTirith if anyone did drop a baby, it was Mr. Paul. He is a shaky old man

  • @WKaliberr

    No, it was YO MAMA.

Ron Pal never dropped a single one of the 4000+ babies he delivered.

Ron Paul is the ONLY one who understands the Constitution, let alone FOLLOWS it; however you seem to think it's purely an ELECTIVE document which can be ignored at will.

  • if ron paul gets rid of the income tax, how would he fun all these changes he wants to do?

  • @Falcondick69 ,, The changes he wants cost Americans less because they make gov smaller..

  • @JaxxBat but if the government is smaller how would he be able to better control our borders and enforce other things?

  • @Falcondick69 , We wont need to "inforce" the borders if the 14th amendment were honored..What other things?

  • @JaxxBat so under ron paul he would make illegal immigration legal? well he just lost my vote.

  • @Falcondick69 , No he will follow The Constitution, and it does not allow illegal imagration..Dont you know what he is about?

  • @Falcondick69 Border control is one of the very few things that the federal government is authorized to do in the constitution.

  • @Falcondick69

A freeer more peacefull America will result in less security isues. Corporate tax and sales tax should be enough to pay for border patrol security and to think no billion dollar wars on oil and drugs will make available more buying dollars for foreign resources .. Instead of bombing the shit out of countries you will have USD & less 20%/30% wage expenditure on taxes are bumping up wages. Employer can pay less and workers get the same take home pay and US industries should boom.

  • @Rand0mManic

America is a corporation-owned empire, and they push war in order to sell more, whether through military-industry or foreign assets.like oil and land. WWI was caused by selling to one side in the a foreign war, dragging the US into it.

Same with WW2 and everything else that followed; the many suffered so that the few could gain.

And they had the gall to say it was "for freedom--" the eternal excuse for everything.

  • no...income tax?

...WHAT THE HELL? WHY DO PEOPLE LIKE THIS GUY?!

  • @LionTroy , Why do you like income tax?

  • @JaxxBat You don't like police, emergency, defense, government research, roads, even regulated assurities that the government provides such as minimum wage....without money it cannot be enforced.

Yes, believe it or not, you have to pay for these things. Or you can live in a fantasy world that these things will just provide themselves. I personally own my own air-force, but we're not all so lucky.

  • @LionTroy There was no income tax before 1913 and America was the most prosperous nation on Earth. You're the one living in a fantasy world.

  • @ComicPenius America also didn't have many roads before 1913 either. Coincidence? Income tax is necessary no matter how you slice it. Infrastructure maintenance is necessary, defense spending is necessary, paying off our debt is necessary.

  • @Aldridge517 most people didn't have cars in 1913, so there was no real need for paved roads. The federal government should be responsible for the interstate system, but state roads, county roads, and city streets are paid for at the state level and have nothing to do with federal income tax.

  • @kdaviper That's the point, in 1913 people in the U.S. started buying more cars. People want cars, people need roads to drive those cars on, people want roads? Income tax. You don't expand the entire nations infrastructure on nothing.
