  • Good pictures of our tour in Viet Nam. I was with K-Troop 8/68-8/69. Do you attend any of our Blackhorse Reunions? If not I think you would appreciate them. Next year in St.Louis.

  • @kenronr I have never attended any of the reunions. I mentioned them to my Father a few years ago, but he didn't seem interested in attending. He has since retired so maybe he would have the time to attend one. Thanks for your service.

  • my dad rode with black horse '68-'69 I like this vid. I may post his slides on here as well

  • @greenbacon I'm sure that the Vietnam vets would appreciate that. They were never given the respect that they deserved. Thanks for commenting :)

  • Great Photos. Thanks for posting this video.

  • was with k troop 68-70

  • I served with F Troop in the first part of the year in 1972 up until the units "stand down". I was transfered to the 1st Cav as I didn't have enough time "in country". Those that did have enough time got to go back "to the world". Thank you for your vid! Damn it brought back som memories.

  • Thanks for sharing these slides. These slides look very close to what I took in NAM. I was in the 11th Cav also from August 1967 - August 1968. My battery was right next to F Troop. We were neighbors!!

    Again, thanks for sharing!

  • I was hoping maybe someone who had served with this unit would view this video. Glad you enjoyed it.

  • I was in 3rd plt. Scouts, and was the plt. Tunnel Rat up in Tam Ky, I realize now I must have been insane...LOL. I transfered to the Air Cav. Section Huey Gunships and pulled ya'll's ass out of the fire during TET in the fight where Chambers got KIA, and McAfee, Jones and ? wounded.

I was in the Gunship that took out that enemy heavy Machine Gun that was giving ya'll trouble, the one in the well ...

    Good old days..

Sgt. L. Thomas Thornburg F troop 3rd Plt.

  • @OBparamour Good pictures of our tour in Viet Nam. I was with K-Troop 8/68-8/69. Do you attend any of our Blackhorse Reunions? If not I think you would appreciate them. Kenron Ritchie, Allons
