the p22 was also confirmed as one of the main weapons used in killing the students at Virginia Tech. so yes is is a very effective gun if used with a good bit of knowledge.

@jimcahn87 That was a terrible event. I'll agree that the P22 was one of the weapons used, but I believe the Glock 19 (9mm) was the "main" weapon. I just haven't seen any info on who was killed by what, but I'm willing to bet that the 9mm did the most damage.

@RaidingWindmills even just putting aside how he set firearms in general back (as well as public view of firearms) what gets me about clinton is the whole BJ thing. even some zitfaced kid working at 7-11 would get fired if he was getting oral while on the clock. clinton was our prez, getting paid by OUR tax dollars. it's upsetting to think we all basically payed him to get his d**k s**cked. & somehow he stayed in office. i can't stand the guy on so many levels.

I've a question. I'm not familiar with the similarity between real handguns and the airsoft versions but... what is the measure of the threaded tip of your barrel? Because for airsoft, all threaded barrels have a 14mm CCW thread.

Not for any particular reason, I was just wondering...

Sorry, but all I know is that it is a 1/2X28tpi threaded adapter. Hope this helps.

It means the bottom of the mag is at the same level as the bottom of the grip when it is pushed in all the way.

10 round only mags (when they can clearly hold more) are called Clinton mags.

Excellent review. The p22 seems to have some similarities to the Sig Mosquito, unfortunately also the nonsense magazine lock and the picky ammo preference.

I can understand your aversion against 10 rd magazines, considering that association. =)

On the other hand, do you know ANY .22LR pistol with higher capacity? As far as I know that's the technical limit for (more or less) reliably feeding .22LR mags.

Before 1994, there were many .22LR handguns with >10 round capacity. Now-a-days I could only find the Kel-Tec PLR-22 (27+1 rounds). But, I hear Magnum Research might bring back the Mountain Eagle pistol (15+1 rounds).

If it weren't for the built in political feel good crap, I like the gun a lot. It feels solid and there is a lot of support for it.
