I can really relate to the music saving your life thing, My Chemical Romance saved mine and it's so good to have people out there who have come out of depression and suicidal tenancies, they are the real role-models and I feel that Lacey has to go down in history as one of the biggest role-models for girls today.

Last week I went to church camp for the first time ever.....On wendsday night Pastor Jamie Jones came and spoke to us....At the end of service he had an altar call and he asked us to bow our heads everyone in the room weather you were a student or pastor,leader or anything everyone had to bow there heads eccept for him....he had us raise our hands for different things that we had done in

@Rhya1028 you have purpose and meaning in your life and i know that sounds cheesy or whatever. but look at lacey she was in the same spot but now look at whats happened in her life. i have no clue what your going through and im not going to pretend to understand everything about your life but ido know that sometimes things that will be insignificant ina few years seem like the world is caving in now so whatever it is that your going through just know that things get better :) God can use anyone

My friend David is *just* like Lacey. I've talked him out of suicide multiple times. He refuses to go to church and he's an atheist. He was actually a satanist for a few weeks but he was scared about the rapture so he went back to being an atheist. Any words of advice?

I'm a Muslim and I am a die hard flyleaf fan. When I first heard them I didn't know they were Christians and I continued to love them, after I found out they were Christians, it made no difference. Point is.. God is God to some and even for an atheist, you do have some high authority. If you want to relate, relate that someones out there watching and protecting you, God or no God. This video is beautiful and I love what flyleaf is giving to their audience: something to love.

@SpectreSnake I know what you mean, man. It's wonderful for Lacey, I truly am happy for and inspired by her. But, she supposedly felt God's presence. And although I'm glad she felt what she felt, I still highly doubt it. There's other possibilities for why the priest noticed her.

I never said I wanted to believe everything or anything, but the fact that she's happy. That was the whole point of my post, that I'm glad things worked out for her, even if we aren't on the same level of faith.

but the only things holding my back is flyleafs music and my friend and her story makes me feel a bit better but my grandma use to take me to church till i was 13 cause then she gave me the choce to go or not so i stoped but this makes me wonder if i should go back to church once or a few more times if she'll take me...but idk...so i would really like other pplz opinions about what i should do so can i have some opinions

haha when i was like 6 my 1st grade teacher said that God was always sitting there with you and walking with you no matter where you were. I feel God with me every part of the day. You say you believe nothing but that's not quite true- you have to believe there is nothing there. Why are you so convinced there is no God? I can't prove God exists, it's a personal journey that only you can go on. Dig a little bit, don't be happy with the surface. God is there you just might have to search a little bit.
