I can't help but feeling disappointed by the music videos Subpop did with Handsome Furs (ie "Can't get Started, I'm Confused). The camera work and visuals are all very well and good, but I feel all of the videos, including this one, are just too linear for the musical content. I feel like something more conceptual, such as a montage would fit better than any sort of cut-and-dry storyline. Also the editing in all three is very boring. There's absolutely no sense of pacing.

I loved this song and read most of the comments and if you did not like it, you are probably warped to love (c)rap and lack any sensibility in the music of life. It was easily THE BEST music video I have ever seen, very much in the vein of a David Lynch film.
I can understand the negative comments made by the people who expect the same commercial consumer crap out of a music video. This music and the video are obviously beyond their cerebral scope and comprehension.

Fucking Brilliant! To me this song is all about society, an how people are like sheep, dumb animals, who are so easily controlled. Him and her are cuffed and put on the bed by some corporate pig. Theres alot of white lighting round' dark background, shows eyes like from "deer's eye in headlights" Really sharp and vivid imagery. Notice the skull ring of driver, i saw that as the two in back were just so passive, and the person driving was like the corrupt leaders in power. Great song, i loved it

Boring video. Too bad because the song is good and I really like this band - and the album.
It was more interesting to look the "Related" videos tab, since they forgot to include "Handsome Furs" in the title you get stuff like: crazy animals, talking animals, funny animals, cute animals... a video called "Animals that are better than you" and "Homosexuality in Animals".
