  • He should have walked out. He warned her, he told her he would not answer.

As I'm here by skimming through the recent leak, I'd like to cite the statements of Sean Noonan. This video does NOT "just show how far his head is up his ass," in fact it shows how understanding he was willing to be on the issue. He knows that this is about something bigger than himself and refused to be the center of it.

Thumbs up if you think he was right to leave.

  • @DjGopher0

"He should have walked out. He warned her, he told her he would not answer."

Yes, just like Carrie Prejean warned Larry King, and yet look how EVERYONE thinks she looked like an idiot...because everyone is already predisposed as to their opinion of her, just as they are with assange. Imagine an interviewer actually doing an interview, asking the questions that many of us want to hear the answer to. Imagine not being able to control everything that is asked of you.

  • ...and he had such an important topic to discuss that he couldn't hold out and answer a few simple questions? He fucking walked rather than discuss the deaths of so many? The interviewer is explicitly getting at the fact that wikileaks should be more than just assange, has a responsibility to, and you say he left because he wanted to not be the center of attention? That was her whole point. Did you miss that?

  • ..."“I am the heart and soul of this organization, its founder, philosopher, spokesperson, original coder, organizer, financier, and all the rest"

...according to assange, hs IS wikileaks (despite the efforts of so many and, frankly, material sourced from people not even in the organization). So, AS wikileaks, should he not be accountable? If someone asked me if I'd raped anyone after being accused, I'd say "NO". But assange? No, he doesn't answer, he just ups and leaves.

  • like a boss

  • Good lad !!

  • I'm here after reading wikileaks latest stratfor leak thumbs up if you are too!

  • by 2:00 he had given a perfectly good answer and explained the whole situation. why go back? stupidest interview I have ever seen. You have one of the most interesting and controversial individuals in the world sitting across from you and you do this? fuck me CNN this was the best you had?

  • This bullshit, sensationalised and cheap interview started off with 'several volunteers have quit' to 'one person was dismissed' what a lying scum that interviewer is. Then she tried to say that the problem was with Julian's personality instead of the fact that the ex-employer was probably just a bitter old shit head. Glad he put her in her place and walked out. He warned her many times. Should have listened you mug, should have listened!

  • like a boss.

  • ...wow you people commenting are painfully ignorant (ie. you ignore the facts that easily attainable): Why the fuck do you think Berg left? He says exactly the same shit about Assange. Assange getting up and leaving simply because the interviewer is questioning his role is embarrassing for Wikileaks.

  • @evilsnakes1 It's embarrassing for CNN, not Wikileaks. She starts off by trying to bluff him (and failing miserably) and then talks about allegations made about himself opposed to what he was there for which was a lot more serious.

  • @itsazy

...he is a guy who has made a career out investigating the "secret" inner workings of governments, agencies and companies. she is simply doing the same thing.

  • @evilsnakes1 How on earth is that the same thing at all?

  • @itsazy

he is quickly becoming known as something of a tyrant within his inner circles. that is what the interviewer rightly is getting at. if the leader of any gov/agency/company was known to act tyrannically, do you not think this is something the rest of us want to know? it's certainly the kind of thing that assange has an agenda to expose. this is a classic case of "can deal it but not take it". and it took so little for him to have a hissy fit.

  • ...this is a demonstration of assange expecting to be able to control the agenda. at no point does he actually answer the question and then ask to move on, he simply dismisses the question. i am anything but an assange/wikileaks hater, but this is the kind of shit that now makes me question what kind of man he is.

  • @evilsnakes1 This is all meaningless gossip you're replying to me with... He was there to talk about very serious shit which I'm guessing you haven't the first clue about because you're too busy reading your gossip columns about what other people think about the founder of the organisation...

  • @itsazy

...interesting that effectively in the same sentence you say that assange was right to walk off and also some personal attacks against me when you don't know the first thing about me. frankly, you have contradicted yourself so grievously that I can't help but wonder if you even notice it. do you really not see the irony?

...and yes, I care very deeply about assange's integrity if he is trying to ride the high horse.

  • ...and if he had something important to discuss, he should have done so rather then be derailed so easily. again, i do believe that wikileaks is generally an entity that makes positive changes, or at least has done so historically, but it is also very dangerous, and so its leader should be accountable at all times. regardless of what you think, there are plenty of people who agree, and so it is an important issue, not simply "gossip".

  • @evilsnakes1 What personal attacks? I pointed out how you're more concerned with gossip about the organisation's founder than the way more serious matter in which the interview was meant to be about. So was the unprofessional interviewer, which is why he left.

  • @itsazy

"which I'm guessing you haven't the first clue about because you're too busy reading your gossip columns"

...is this seriously the way you converse with people? you don't realize how offensive this is? seriously, the irony is ridiculous.

  • @evilsnakes1 Aww, have I offended you by giving you my opinion? Diddums. Chin up, pal.

I'm sorry, but if you're just dismissing what he's there to talk about because of hearsay then one can only assume that you have no idea about the topic at hand.

  • @itsazy

...no, you did not express an opinion: you rather blatantly implied that my learning comes from nothing more than gossip columns. It is markedly similar to what the interviewer is doing to assange, questioning his integrity, except that assange has garnered a reputation to warrant the interviewers questions, whereas you don't know me in the slighest. That you still fail to recognize the irony is quite revealing.

  • As far as hearsay, some of is former closest colleagues openly state his tyranical nature, such as Domscheit-Berg who, I trust a good deal more than assange. Assange seems to think he can control the agenda at every turn, and once he loses that control he turns into a baby. That he had something serious to discuss but gave up on the topic on walked off in a huff because he was challenged somewhat demonstrates how easily he is derailed by his ego.

    MANY people agree with this.

  • @evilsnakes1 Look at you - still trying to deflect the argument on to poor old you receiving a little criticism. Strong. It seems you in fact /don't/ know what Julian was there for after all, or perhaps you don't even care.

  • @itsazy

I am simply pointing out that what you have said is contradictory: Assange walks out because of a little criticism and you cheer, yet you play the devil's advocate with me, making completely unsubstantiated claims about my learning. You mockingly call me "strong"? Seriously? I'm not the one who walked out in a huff. I simply pointed out the inconstancy in your argument. It's really quite amusing that you keep going down this path.

  • @evilsnakes1 Assange did not walk out because of criticism. The base for your comparison is garbage.

  • @itsazy

he walked out because he had an agenda but was derailed by an interviewer who was questioning his integrity. he would have had ample opportunity to discuss what he was there for, but his self-importance and impatience got the better of him. he would have had ample opportunity for his agenda, but should expect to participate in other's. he should have answered a few simple questions and moved on, but because the questions were about his integrity he freaked out.

  • ...like any organization, but especially one releasing, often times irresponsibly, confidential information, the integrity of its leader is paramount. Regardless of what you think, half of America sees assange/wikileaks as a national threat. And with Assange making unilateral decisions without a proper review committee behind him is, frankly, one reasons he ended up in the trouble he has. So say what you want, there are many of us who think this made him look foolish.

  • @evilsnakes1 He was right to walk off.

  • @spawnaudiouk And by the way, your sexist assumption is false. I'm a woman.

  • @spawnaudiouk The sources I refer to are Wikileaks former employees who were broadcast being interviewed for the BBC last year.

  • shes not a journalist, she's just trying to get under his skin and has been sent to perform that task. I think she would quite happy perform 'what-ever' task was asked of her, maybe she should have gone undercover to see if Julian Assange is a real sex beast he's reported (by cnn & fox) to be.

  • This journalist was asking valid questions about Assange's perceived integrity. Since the rape allegations in Sweden, several of his Wikileaks colleagues have publicly revealed aspects of bullish ego driven behavior in his manner of running the organization. This egoistic insistence on not addressing valid questions by hiding behind a shield of moral self-righteousness exposes something of his true nature. The journalist succeeded in penetrating his carapace and exposing a pompous hypocrisy.

  • @AmerikanPatriot Very well put.

  • THAT LADY WAS A DOG I WOULD OF LEFT FASTER THAN HIM WHAT A BITCH WHORE

  • finaly somone who doesnt accept mox news spin and contamination of the public view.

  • CNN and FOX are corporations that twist news and oppose assange

  • Julian Assange - Dont blame him.

  • he should have slapped that notepad out of her hand.

  • basicaly a left wing hippy liberal rapist...

  • @BREDATOR1

Hey; He was accused, under quite shady circumstances, of rape.

Ronald Reagan fucked you all up the ass with crack-cocaine and you still praise him just right after the Michigan-born White Jesus...

P.S. Most of rapists are misogynistic right-wingers; Classic wife beaters...

  • @Orthodoxcrusader When asked about villigers who have been named as helping the troops trying to rebuild and control the mess that is afganistan, he said basicaly out of hand "f*ck them!".... so he shows his phycopathic nature ....He has caused and will do unknown misery....

  • @BREDATOR1

The troops created the mess called TWT(The War of Terror) in Afghanistan in the first place...

He caused no misery; USA corporatist armada of tanks and gunships is the one creating misery and pain, from sea to shining sea.

P.S. It's nice from you to try to shift the unforgivable guilt; Your government tried that crap too, while waging a nuclear holocaust on Fallujah...

  • @Orthodoxcrusader Try TTT ,the twin towers, Nuclear holocaust hardly, and the British government /Army were not in action in that part of Iraq , only the Americans. get your facts right.

  • I am ambivalent about Assange, but I sure as hell hate the mainstream media trickery and games, so this was great to watch! This is how everyone should handle the assclowns on CNN, Fox, and all the horseshit propaganda stations.

  • Julian Assange is charismatic as hell.

  • She need more Education to take Interview for Julian

  • dumb bitch .

  • good for him. she's trying to do an irrelevant tabloid piece rather than focus on the issues of import. lousy interviewerl

  • Silly little girl needs to apply for a job at TMZ or some other gossip style media outlet!

  • He protrays himself as such a saint, and then gets so hacked off when one even gets close to mentioning the condom issue. I guess even Saints are above questions about their sex life, even though a storm has brewed precisely over Assange's sex life. Assuming that he's innocent, his entire indignant approach makes one suspect that he actually isn't. Why is he being so uptight? Isn't such a shut-mouthed approach against the very spirit of Wikileakdom's openess?

  • @MrNuance77 It has absolutely nothing to do with Wikileaks. He had every right to walk away from what he thought would be a professional interview which turned out to be just a cheap attempt to fuel tabloids.

  • : (

  • She should be interviewing that Kartashian thing or Gaga, not him!

  • hes such a badass!

  • He is such a charismatic guy. Go Wiki

  • He was polite about it.

  • what did she actually ask that was wrong? and more than one thing

  • Stupid mainstream reporter sheep, all she can do is see tabloids.

no sensation in a 100,000 dead? no news there?

It's good that he walked out.

  • who the fuck cuts his hair?

  • That "former staffer" destroyed 4 GB of evidence of bank crimes.

  • she has a lot to learn. maybe she might let her own ego take a back seat next time.

  • I don't blame him for walking at all. Nothing she asked was on the subject of the interview.

  • 3:59 WHATCHA GONNA DO!

  • The story is unclear-wikileaks is promoting the war on terror-- the lies of 9/11-- promoting war with Iran and other such things. Check out the research at VeteransToday -- the cofounders of Wikileaks have stated that Julian was working with intelligence services-- the CNN reporter didn't mention this. Julian may be a good guy that sold out or may have been on board with Israel the entire time- maybe not. Also his revelations are not really big news. Maybe he justified it somehow to himself.

  • he warned her like 10 times :D when he walked away I just felt the urge to give him standing-ovations :D

  • several volunteers have quit? :D what a bad ass liar that girl is

  • @Israylite4EVER Yes, there is grand conspiracy and only you can reveal it to the world yes? Or maybe it was revealed you by your messiah Glenn beck?

  • No one can silence Assange.

  • OMG where did they get this stupid hen? Or maybe she is just a quintessence of CNN?

  • Hats off Julian

  • she is a dumb bitch, sitting next to this man makes her look dumber than palin or bachmann which is hard to do

  • @DotWhoCares What an ACT. If anybody used their intuition and learned to understand You'd realize that this whole Wiki Leaks/Assange saga is ALL 100% STAGED. He is working for and being groomed by the same elites He is exposing. This way the elites can be SELECTIVE of what kind of info can be released for a DESIRED REACTION. You are all being BAMBOOZLED AND MANIPULATED IN A SORT OF CLEVER AND WEIRD WAY. Your common sense is being sort of "bypassed." So You will only be thinking INSIDE THE BOX

  • @Israylite4EVER hi, I'm not saying you theory doesn't make sense, but you forgot that he got this lawsuit in sweden and a house arrest in england because he had sex without a condom. so the system seems to be working against him... and if he was just an act, then I guess the system should protect him.

  • What an ACT. If anybody used their intuition and learned to understand You'd realize that this whole Wiki Leaks/Julian Assange saga is ALL 100% STAGED. • interviewer is too showbiz.

how did she even get this job?

  • @comeonaileenify

  • The lady she was a mother fucking cheep whore

  • He took too lond to walk IMO .

  • thats a bit rich from julian - he advocates for transparency but he's own life is out of bounds. hey newsflash buddy, when you're in the spotlight, EVERYTHING is up for discussion: that's the price of worldwide attention

  • Good on you Julian.

  • I'm surprised more people don't walk out of CNN interviews. This network not so long ago gave Glenn Beck a show to voice his ridiculous opiniions over he airwaves. CNN has nothing to do with news.

  • @tubesteakZ Isnt glen back on Fox thoe ?!

  • @EdoPatriot that's because this is a mirror. the original WAS taken down.

  • This woman has free will, she dosn't have to ask the question he walked on & she was warned many times by Julian he would walk if she persisted with personal character questions ignoring the 104.000 deaths

  • the girls got him too. im building my foundation from the ground... up.

  • what the fuck...are they deleting the videos? i dont think this video has so few views

  • If you're smart, you re-word it like, for example... "Do you think this is a tactic to discredit Wikileaks? you re-phrase it carefully early on before he has lost his patience with you obviously trying to re-ask the same thing the same way 3 times! You knock it out quickly avoiding the same nouns that are triggers for him to get up and leave. At least acknowledge his point, which is valid.

  • The dumb bitch is just doing what she's told

  • Was she serious with that interview? How did she ever get that job

  • Phenomenal.

  • Anyone else notice how "There have been a lot of reports of internal disputes" becomes - one former suspended staffer? Comes to show how far they are willing to stretch the truth.

  • So the documents released by Wikileaks show 109,000 deaths in Iraq, but CNN only wants to talk about a personality clash between an employee and his boss. CNN is worse than a tabloid.

  • I am Bradley Manning

  • Good one, Julian. No interviews to right-wing propaganda stations!

  • Good on Julian. I'm glad he knew not to fall for the classic propagandist media tactic of deflecting from the main issue

  • did she get laidoff from cnn?

  • Just a bloody hore..yellow....
