@GetGl0cked Seed Bomb is for hitting stuff that Focus Punch won't hit (Ghosts mainly). Plus, STAB.

And yes, Breloom is a physical sweeper.

@TheKillerplayer31 If you continue to breed enough, you'll eventually get a shroomish with the ability poison heal and then you can evolve him into Breloom

@will122391 I used to think Substitute sucked too. It does in Story mode, but on WiFi it is one of the best moves.

It drops 25% HP to create a shield. This shield takes hits until the HP it has is depleted. This could be one hit or numerous hits (usually just 1 though). It also blocks you from status moves. Toxic will not work, things like Screech will not work, Confusion will fail, because it hits the sub and not the poke. It is great to use on predicted switches, or when slower.

Focus punch only works if the foe does not land a hit. substitute gets hit but Focus punch still works. I use this tactic as well

Nice. is it just me, or was Tenchi running a sandstorm team without Hippowdon or Ttar? All but Umbreon were steel or ground, and Umbreon's usualy a wall, it could probably be taken out f that team for a sandstormer

It's ability is Poison Heal. He gains 12.5% HP every turn if he is poisoned. Hence, him holding Toxic Orb.

Pretty much, status immunity and double leftovers. Awesome stuff.

It works well. Fire Bait team works to Heatrans advantage. Forret is there to Spike and die. Zong has endless Tanking ability. Same as Umbreon. It's not planed badly. Just Brellom weak. Which a lot of teams are.

If alot of teams are Breloom-weak, wouldn't you think you'd have atleast one Pokemon to deal with the possibility of dealing with a Breloom? It would seem prudent, considering how badly you got owned by one.

Why don't you challenge Tenchi? Then he'll post the vid of how that one turns out. And Swampert isn't weak to fire...he resists it. Called backup, plan B, safety, whatever you like. Forry and Zong asplode.

So what. I HAVE to carry around a Ghost just to counter it? Even with a Chesto Berry to wake it up if I get spored, I'll just break the sub, he'll spore me again, and the rampage continues. If you DON'T have a ghost, you're basically weak to Breloom. I know what I'm talking about.

Fire-trapping. Brings in a Heatran for the Flashfire to sweep. Bad luck that he faced a SporeSubpunch Breloom lead. Works well with Electric too thanks to Evire. Tenchi is a good friend, he's by no means a bad player. Our other matches weren't so lopsided.

Pretty awesome EPIC battle, if one sided, haha. I just started over on Pokemon, so I'm rather far away from being level 100. Which one was Yggdrasil? the guy you used? I don't think I've ever seen that one before(I also missed the third generation of games, so that might have somethng to do with it too)

Yeah I didn't play 2nd or 3rd gen either. Yggdrasil is something called Breloom.

Oh, and lvl 100 is kind of false. WiFi has the ability to set ALL pokemon to lvl 100 or lvl 50 for the fight, so level is no longer important.

Never heard of it, but sounds awesome. Ah, okay, so it's like that battle tower I heard about or something that you can do after the Elite Four. I quit my last game at the Elite Four, since I made the mistake of constantly switching out people on my team throughout, so I was stuck at lvl 45 by the time I got there, and it was too much of a pain to try and catch up level wise at that point.
