this is my schools theatre song. this weekend were our 3 shows of to kill a mockingbird. Before every performance (and rehearsal) we have a group circle and we play this song. It started as all of us just listening to it, but by the last show we were all singing along. (even us techies ..that's what I am by the way) As corny as i thought this whole thing was at first, I love it now and I'm going to miss it. Love this song!

SH is a Tony nominated B'way star who is perhaps best known for his rendition of Over the Rainbow which he won Starsearch with in the very early 80's. Rockapella who originally did the song, sings backup for him in his version. The CD is easier to find than a good online version. I think it is the best I've heard. His version of Bridge over troubled water on that album came years before and sounds eerily similar to Clay Aiken's

Thank you for posting this. I saw several versions by different artists here on YouTube, but this is the version I remember from the soundtrack. It was slightly different than in the movie, but I liked both versions. The other ones (esp. by Hanson) are ok, but they don't really sing to that last note like these guys do.
