  • there is almost undisputed research confirming that Gamma amino butyric acid cannot cross the blood brain barrier as almost all other catecholamines. This is because these chemicals are used in the maintenace of other organ systems and are in the blood as they travel the body, this would completely interfere with the brains delicate balance so they cannot enter it from the blood stream. GABA as a supplement is completely ineffective in calming the central nervous system. So do alittle research.

  • Love GABA before bed!! Really makes you feel like you have been asleep for hours

  • i like gaba its good for the brain..

  • Hey can anyone give me some advice? Going through puberty and just wondering what combination and dosages of GABA, L-Glutamine, L-Arginie and L-Lysine (or anything else) will help increase my height. thanks

  • made me feel depressed. not good.

  • As far as I think I understand, GABA is a neurotransmitter Primarily associated with the inhibition of synaptic firing. So wouldn't increasing the abundance of GABA create adverse side effects like decreased awareness? I mean this product in essence should decrease cognitive function as a whole not increase a patients metabolic rate.

  • @pissnitch I get where you're coming from. Just a guess, but maybe because it promotes more restful sleep, people tend to have more energy throughout the day to get more things done (work out)?

  • This is very informative posting. Thank you for sharing this to us.
