Near is an alias for Nate River, in the popular anime Death Note. Near is a young boy at the beginning , lined up to be L, the greatest detective's successor. At teenage years, he was in charge of finding Kira after Near's mentor (L) died. The anime plays a lot of different language, it's popular all over the world. I recommend you do watch it.
