  • Alleen de ondertiteling klopt soms niet. Het BA vlucht 38 niet 58

  • What is that yellow liquid in the bottles in the investigators' room? Urine?

  • @OhhCats Yes it is urine but its got nothing to do with the investigation, the investigators pee in the bottles because its easier than walking to the wash rooms.

  • OMFG its 2012 and im still watching this =D blijft gwn intresant.

  • whoa!! An episode that doesn't take place between 1970s and 1990s 0-o!

  • Dit weet ik nog als de dag van gisteren

  • De ondertitels net te versterken met het feit dat dit gebeurde in Amsterdam.

  • hold off the search, i found the black box at 1:24

  • I just came out school when it happened. It was unbelievable.

  • I love air crash investigation very much, when it first came out in 2003 that season was probebly the best. i think untill season 4 it was very good now air crash investigation lacks drama! I dont watch air crash that much anymore as i use to. Only once when the new episode comes out thats it. Air crash has lost its sense of drama.

  • This episode is starting weirdly...normally they start with the dramatized reconstruction, not the investigation.

  • @aiesecoxford Yes and there were no eyewitnesses but plenty of people survived

  • @aiesecoxford what you mean? they show the catastrofe in the begin.....

  • KLM kills over 500 people in just one crash its not a disaster. British airways luckier than Turkish airlines and crew hero. Turkish pilots killed themselves for passengers because of stupid Boeing fault. And some you still doesn't respect pilots and Turkish airlines.Keep your sided fucking stupid comments for yourself idiots. These pilots died for your full of shit guts.Put your egotistical lifes in your asses.Shits could be happened every time, when u see that im not gonna share your sadness.

  • nobady is dead !! that boring men ... shitty commercial pilots folt as usual can't fly a shit !

  • It is Istanbul, not Instanbul (4:00).

  • @elegimsagma2 Actually it's "Istanbul, not Constantinople", Lol.

  • they did a good job in showing how not to land.

  • note the perfect english of the flight attendant

  • I took this plain one day before the accident :/ thank God !

  • another 737 ! how many times are we gonna see this plane fall down in documentaries ??? fucking shitty plane

  • another turkish airline !!! my god ahahah !!!! fucked up planes!

  • I everytime trust urkish Airlines. One of the safest airline in the world.Aircrafts are new and pilot are experienced from the army carrier. This accident is just can be one more technical fault of Boings unsolved problems

  • Hey they pronounce Schipol wrong, as well as the ATC's are speaking in a weird accent the real Schipol ATC don't speak like that :/

    Come on more realistic ;)

  • thank for the upload

  • Comment removed

  • I've been pronouncing Schipol wrong for years. Lol!

  • Een van de ergste dingen in me leven

  • Thanks for upping this, my sky box didn't record last weeks properly!

  • the only trouble i have with this lovely show is they give away alot of the details and outcomes at thE BEGINNING OF THE SHOW!!!! I purposely skip ahead.

  • i saw it flying and crashing

    horrible to see

after that i called police and in like 5 minutes

you hear police sirenes ambulance firefighters sirenens everywhere!

  • I think Turkish Airway has the worst Air Safety Record...........

  • @terencelai7 No you'r wrong what about the BA flgiht 38 B777 most safe airliner?

  • I do love the Boeing 737

  • 2:36

  • At 4:48, the man says British Airways flight 38 but in writing it says flight 58.

  • If you want an episode list check Wikipedia, just type in Mayday tv series into google.

  • 737 has an engineer?

  • Is it possible to preserve original aspect ratio when uploading videos to the tube?

  • 06:38 Engines stopped running because they ran out of gas. Don't engines run on fuel?

  • @yongjianrong Fuel? Gas is fuel. Whether it is natural gas or gasoline, it is fuel. All engines run on fuel. In the case of JET engines it is JET FUEL.

  • yay another mystery!! could be turbolents

  • My grandparents live VERY close to Schipol so this practically happend in their backyard D:

  • For 3 boeing members of the 4 to die out of 120 odd people is a bit suspect to me!

Do the maths and it's pretty rare!

  • @Ajc52 It's likely that it had something to do with their seating. In any crash, some parts of the aircraft suffer more damage and devastation than other parts, or certain positions become more dangerous than others. It is entirely possible that where they were seated was one of the worst places to be when the plane crashed. And if they were sitting together -- which was likely -- then it's no surprise that 3 out of 4 of them were killed.

  • does she pronounce Schipol in a right way (ski-pol)?

  • @Omatunto its more (shkip-ol)

  • Was your classmate okay?

  • Dude thanks for the upload, its greatly appriciated

  • Someone from my class was in that plane

  • @Recurious I'm really sorry to hear that :(

  • @drmaloossi21

It's okay, she survived the crash. Sadly she has some issue's with her back from it. Also, janwillemdej thanks for uploading! I'm really interested in this crash for obvious reasons.

  • oh my god may god bless him.

  • Is this part of the new 2011 series? Do you have an episode list?

  • @stevefromwigan yes , this is the first episode from the new season. I don't have an episode list of this new season

  • @janwillemdej This cannot be the first episode because that is being shown tonight and is the heathrow flight 38 disaster. I just wana know how many new ones are coming out?

  • Comment removed

  • @stevefromwigan 2009 Schiphol Disaster aired on Dutch National Geographic Channel last month and it is an episode from the new 10th season. It aired as a Sunday Special on Dutch TV only to mark the 2nd anniversary of the crash, as it happened in the Netherlands. Tonight, UK National Geographic Channel aired the (new) Heathrow crash-landing episode while Australian TV will air the (new) Hudson Crash-Landing.

  • @stevefromwigan On March 13, Australia NatGeo will air episode Cockpit Failure about Crossair Flight 3597 while UK NatGeo will air episode Stalled In The Sky about Colgan Air Flight 3407 on March 21. The sixth and final new episode of the season will be called Pilot Betrayed about Scandinavian Airlines Flight 751, and its air date is still TBA but is expected to air on March 28.

  • @stevefromwigan Go to Wikipedia and search "Mayday Episodes" and it will come up with a full list.

  • the dutch control center was the guilty one, however dutch goverment always ignore their own errors. also at the crash with pan amm in tenerife, dutch investigators blamed the control towers, but the real guilty one was KLM pilot van zantem, so i can tell you now this video or dutch official report dont say nothing, turkish autorities said that the dutch control center is guilty so who's right?

  • @superturka Turkish authorities also said that no one was killed, when Dutch authorities said at the same moment that already 6 or 7 were killed. (Some died later in hospital) It is true that it was Van Zantems fault in the Tenerife disaster. There were too much things that could have prevented it. The Tenerife disaster is just the perfect example of being in the wrong place at the wrong moment. But that doesn't prove why the Dutch control center is also guilty here. So, please tell, why?

  • The most important point in this accident is that the faulty radio altimeter was controlling the auto throttle during the most delicate phase of the flight. This tv program is giving the most of the blame to the pilots. It is true that the pilots did mistakes but I believe that the most important factor here is the faulty design in the auto throttle system of 737. The autothrottle should

acquire data from both radio altimeters during landings and in the case of a mismatch it should DISENGAGE!!

  • Thnks man this is great!!!!!

  • Air Crash Investigation : Schiphol disaster '09 is recorded , edited and uploaded in High-Definition to the youtube network by tja41
