@sc1ssor As with any fuel, the efficiency is dependent on the tuning of the engine, fuel to air ratio and other factors in the vehicle. One thing unique about ethanol, given the right conditions, is that is burns cleaner. Note that the model -T of Henry Ford was originally designed to run on ethanol. Henry Ford knew that gasoline was bad for the environment. There are no large scale ethanol production plants in operation here in the Philippines. We still import it from Brazil.
