I wonder what type of oil is used. I doubt that it is petroleum as it wouid form green, yellow, and violet swirls when it comes in contact with water.

Not petro. It is a kind of tree, with botanical name or science name: Aleurites fordii Hemsi, or Vernicia montana, or Aleurites cordata Thunb
