  • why is their dresses so long :L ?

  • what is the music in the background called ?

  • I come from nz and i do irish dancing and passed that level, its really hard. It takes alot of years of practice. I've only just moved to nz from ireland about 1yr ago!

  • Awesome job!!!!!! I know its hard on hard shoes but go uo more on your toes

  • @EmmiesPiggies uhm, that's a traditional outfit for Irish dancers, so shut yo mouth.

and pog mo Eireannach toin. -.-

  • Comment removed

  • @xtremelyfluffy just because you're irish, doesn't mean you can do the dance.

  • im'a britesh not pirat thi music tejuable

  • im'a britesh not pirat thi music tejuable

  • very nice:) that's a very traditional hornpipe..and I am also glad I don't have to wear the horrible lace collar anymore.

  • @dejpau3825 I love hornpipes best - you can have your jigs.

  • This is original old style traditional Hornpipe steps and they ARE done closer to the ground as hornpipe used to be only done by men.

  • They're very good... Traditional irish costumes are sooo ugly... I'm sorry but I'm glad my studio doesn't use them

  • was that 2432 ?

  • i don't think thats the horn pipe

  • i dont like the dresses

  • Well when it all comes down to it, Irish dance is not purely about the costumes. It's like in any form of dance. Sometimes you have to wear dresses you just don't fancy.

  • i do irish step dancing and its soo much fun!

  • yessssss

  • @chapstick530 its easy!

  • really good girls :D x

  • really good dancing (: x

  • @Brookingtons thats true about the dresses but no about the feet every1 in irish dancing has to lift there feet

take thiss from an irish dancer.....

  • there dresses r tooo long nd there crapp nott lifting there feet..!!!

  • very nice!!

  • Great job girls:) Just a little more crossing on the feet!

  • its not that the dresses are ugly, its just that they are toooo big.

  • OMG to the people who are saying "ugly dresses"are feckin dumb those dresses are traditional irish dancing dresses and yiz shouldnt be doing irish dancing if all yer in te is the glitzy solo dresses :P

  • ermm... btw the dresses now are more modern, eyecatching and nicer on the eye tbh! no offence! and the footwork along with the dresses is amazing!

  • they appear to be very traditional school dresses which I respect more than the clown costumes they make these days. i've seen current dresses with feathers, ruffles, and god awful patterns. it seems like it's more about the dresses than the footwork these days. such travesty to such a beautiful art.

  • Agreed, Dark attire against a grey background does not work. This attire may work in a different enviorment but certaintly not here.

  • @irishmobkitten yes! weve had our school dresses since my teacher first opened in the 80s and they are beautiful they are blue for the original color of ireland

  • gross dresses im making my own soon

  • my friend has one with zebra stripes its awesome and i have a friend that makes her own dresses!

  • My solo dress is going to be black and white with zebra stripes in the panels..... and those are ugly dreses!

  • awesome! yeah they are! my friend just made one with s's on it for her name it looks awesome!

  • @kaylibaby14 What does Zebra stripes have to do with Irish Dancing tell me?

  • fantastic

  • just the girls dance this?? alone or with boys??

  • Great job these girls are doing.

  • Sure u wud chapstick, just takes training. I know how to do some jigs

  • i haev a really short dress, its one ofthe new ones and our instructor wont let us wear one that look the same lol nice job =]

  • Truely, good technique. But need more practice ;) ya almost there, though.

  • dat was whack and sh**y!!!!!!!!!

  • they need to watch their heels. and timing.

    their heels keep dropping

    and timing is off.

  • youre just jealous your not irish, "bebe"

most irish girls happen to be SEXAYYYY....so i see where the jealousy is coming from :p

  • When i first learne hornpipe i couldnt get it right. These people are good xxx

  • is this horn pipe?

  • nice sound! they're only beginners- i thought they were quite good! they just need some work- come on, it can be hard to bounce in hardshoes!

  • america learn hornpipe before the heavy/treble jig. maybe they do too. i was rubbish at heavyshoe when i first started.

  • i can do that

  • I would like to see this dance live ;D

  • why are you guys being such assholes, can you do any better? i don't think so

  • why are you guys being such assholes, can you do any better? i don't think so

  • Great

  • there real good hard shoes rock my friend hasa a pair with a pink borce there really cute !

  • do you know where she got them becasue i am trying to find a good pair of hard shoes

  • needs a bit of ENERGY to it!!

  • I agree with those who say your comments are too harsh. We want the girls to improve, yes. How is publicly lambasting beginners going to help them? Even teachers and judges have to word their critiques in a constructive manner.

  • Not always. Some feiseanna do offer hard shoe dances in beginner 1.

  • Ah The Blackbird... unless its got a different name because the style is different o.O

  • not necessaraly.every school works differently.i know of a few schools that even teach hardshoe before softshoe.

  • what have you never been a beginer?

  • wow you lot are harsh!!!yes it wasnt good, but we have all been beginers once.and so what if they havent got expensive dresses, and wigs.there not at feis!!!

  • oh my gosh

  • they can't doo enything right lololololololxx

  • LAMHA LENA CHLE A CHAILINI !!!!

    HANDS BY YER SIDE !!!!

    Who is yere Teacher ???

Dis vid s a disgrace 2da culture f Irish Dancing!

They act like they don't even want 2 be there, & they all look over 10y.o. so they should kno what they're doing & should know how 2 dance.

Can this this vid pleas be removed! It's embarrassing!

    Crrrriiinnggggeee

  • The harshness of these comments is a disgrace to Irish dance.

  • My teacher would spank me if i danced that un- bouncey!

  • agreed!! I didn't like hornpipes at ALL!!

  • theyre not very bouncy. im supposed to be able to touch the ceiling while dancing.

  • lmfao my dancer teacher would kick my ass if i was ever taht lazy dancing

  • i hear ya, my dance teacher learned with micheal flatley and danced with him-they are quite chummy. so if i were to do that, not only would my ass be kicked, id probably cease to exsist. O_O ouch

  • lol my teacher expcets the best... no matter how hard or how tiredyou are... lol

  • I totally hear ya. this woman workes us till our toes bleed. Literally and figurativly. its all like give us a break lady. but the medals, championships, and titles are totally worth it.

  • i used to do that

  • you try it and then we'll critize you..give them some credit...its harder than it looks

  • they are horrible

  • i agree they're not that good in this are they?

  • OMFG ROFLMAO!!! That is Freakin Hilarious, but I like their dancing

  • why are there feet all wrong in the first possition? foot to heel, foot to heel damnit!

  • First position is heels together, toes out. Fifth position is toe to heel.

  • got to give them respect, it's so difficult

  • is that dance called the blackbird???

  • I have to say this is quite bad... their footwork is very VERY wong and they dont really make an effort... Also get some new costumes n hairstyles... And stand up straight!!!

  • Thank you for sharing!

  • you neeeeeed to be better than that i mean comee onnnn!!!! :(

  • the dresses are too big but the hornpipe is pretty good

  • hope yer spelling is beter

  • irish dancers without wigs oh my! lol

  • ahaha even when you have your own hair thats long enough when they put the fesh curlers in it it still feels like wearing a wig

  • @knossienne Dancers WITH wigs - WHEN DID THAT HAPPEN -most look like ridiculously made up Barbie dolls if you want to know the truth. nothing to do with Irish dance itself.
