But Snow is not Jamaican, he's Canadian. A lot of Jamaican DJs embraced him, but there were also a lot of Jamaican DJs who did not take him seriously. Not only because he was white, but because he wasn't even Jamaican born. I was shocked when I found out he was from Canada. Anyway, this was a big tune back in '94/'95. Watching the video brings back a lot of memories of when Dancehall music was DANCEHALL MUSIC. No autotunes, no American influence. Just straight-up raw tunes from Jamaica.
