This haircut is simply a fro-faux, and not an emo haircut. I could understand how it could be a transition hair cut for guys with short hair that wants to grow it out into an emo hairstyle, but only if you leave the sideburns long towards the front of the face and blended backwards...not just having it short straight up on the sides... The female concept of an emo cut is at least a little accurate for both genders...
