@justahippyslacker It was intense for me when I first started as well. That's why I used the Power 90 fitness program first, then moved to P90x. Use whatever fitness program you're comfortable with, but make sure you actually push and challenge yourself.
No worries bro as long as you are motivated to start . Its funny i have p90 and p90x and haven't touch either one . I kick it off tomorrow so keep it pushing bro .
Hey man I'm in the boat as you. Last year I did power 90 and P90 masters and then did a little bit of p90x. I lost like 40 - 45 pounds. Then Things sorta took turn for the worse, personal and other things got in the way, kept telling myself I'll get back in the game and one year later I gained all of it back. Anyway I got tired of going back to weight I hoped and planned to never go back to and now I'm back BABY!!! Started p90x this time 4.5 weeks ago, doing insanity also, lost like 15 lbs.
@hrsjunk That's what's up! Congrats on starting again. Totally understand where you're coming from. It also means we have to make and commit to long-term nutrition changes. That's one of the harder parts to overcome, but it can be done.
MY BROTHA! I'm so frikkin' happy to see you! It's been a long time...fb and twitter doesn't do anyone justice...I want to see 8-)....As I'm watching this vid, I see all your vids where you are smaller and I KNOW you CAN do it! It's a journey to lifelong fitness and I know that it's not easy but still pushing to get there! You STILL sexy and did you make the beats in this video? and I'm gonna ask everytime so you might as well let me know EVERY TIME! MUAHLALALALAHAHAHAH
@nubyia1 What's up girl!! You know I still put down the beats, lol. This is definitely a lifetime journey and it really never ends. Thanks for the vote of confidence. :)
Welcome back. Life does get in the way sometimes. Im thinking about restarting P90x in the next few days. You will do great. You were one of the people who inspired when I first started my journey. Good luck.
@GregThatDudeTv Thanks Greg. Dude, I'm telling you...it's true that sometimes life does get in the way. I'm starting to take a more balanced approach to it all though. I will say this: I made it harder on myself by not restarting earlier. And honestly, if I had really stayed balanced in my eating and just worked out a few times a week, I'd still be at a smaller weight. Balance is the key. You know P90x works, just a matter of making up your mind and committing whatever time you can give it.
What the heck is up Larry? Lol. I missed you dude and you are so right so people can do it others shut down. I pretty mush can workout but it's the eating that messes with me when life happens. Awesome that you are doing p90x. I played with it bait with hybrids after the 2nd round but haven't really committed to doing it a 3rd time for real. But who knows since you and shanell are doing it I might get the bug again. See u around
@anitdnahS What's up Anitdnahs! Lol. You're right, everyone is different. Depending on what's going on in our lives, once in a while it can push us over the edge and we do things we otherwise wouldn't. That's a symptom of depression and some of us are more susceptible than others. Once we recognize it we need to take steps to deal with it positively rather than feed into our negativity. I don't think most people get how serious it is. Anyway, come on and join us!! Let's get the gang back! :)
all we came back on the same day, lol. Long time mos def. I jus got thru week two of P90X. "Good for u" huh, lol. I def wrkout no matter, but that's me.
@souljagurlsha LOL. I was just saying that we all deal with stress differently. In the end, people have to workout for themselves and live up to their own goals & expectations. It's a longer road for some and a shorter one for others. The only thing that matters is that they eventually get there. I took a longer road, but P90x is kicking my behind & I'm paying for it. :) Still feels good to be back babe!
Good luck with that. It's far too intensive for my liking.
