Therefore it can't be a biologically set thing to find this manner of flirting attractive, it must be socially influenced.
From what I've learned, thats a very contested theory. Remains typically support a light language, not organized like ours, since their physical make-up didn't support a lot of vocals. Of course there are animalistic noises, grunting and so forth, but the idea they had a real 'language' is pretty hard to confirm. Just my 2 cents.

The idea that Neanderthals had a spoken language has been around for a little longer than 20 years or so... So that may not be true what you said.
