"Crime stats" are skewed by the sample data. It proves that those that live in impoverished areas result to more violent means to survive. black white asian, pick one. i respectfully must disagree with you about your crime statement. i live in a city with both black and white neighborhoods which are low income. about 50% of the homes in the black neighborhoods have those metal bars on their doors and windows, while the poor white neighborhood have almost none. it seems to me the younger black generation has very little respect for themselves, other people (B or W) or other peoples property. i am not prejudice, i have black friends. just my observations.

I dont know where you live, but i'm from the east side of detroit, with knowledge of many areas. if you understand the concept of poverty, and impoverished areas, whether its white black or latino, they are mostly all breeding grounds for crime. Its not that poor white or black children have little respect for themselves. Its that they are directly being affected and cultured by their negative surroundings. They live in poorer counties which have less businesses, hence less tax dollars

which brings less money to schools in their particular area. If you educate yourself and observe nationwide and worldwide poverty, the result is all the same. Its not a black thing, its a poverty thing. I have a white friend living in an impoverished area thats been arrested several times for drug dealing and theft. He became a product of his environment, cant get a job etc. Until the poverty issue is addressed, you'll continue to see instances where people relegate themselves to the worst
