How To Fix "Package Download Failed" Error

Can anyone help? I had 6gb memory left on my iPhone, I've got installous and I downloaded the TOMTOM app through that, which is only 1.6gb in size, but when I went to install the app it showed an error message, I tried to reinstall a couple of tomes with no luck but then got an error message saying I've run out of disk space, the app hasn't even installed. CAN ANYONE HELP ME?? I want to free up the space I've lost and cannot figure out where it is being stored? Thankyou.

@killzy first download sbsettings, then download keepawake. Keepawake keeps your wifi on even when your device is off... Or you can set it so it never locks in the settings

Well then, you obviously have a major problem. I'd recommend restoring, and next time choosing to use Cydia instead of Installer. Cydia is far more powerful, superior, and more reliable than Installer.

i actually just re-jailbroke it with iliberty, and reinstalled the installer along with it.

now it works. but then i could uninstall the apps i had before, but i figured out how to do it with DiskAid. So yeah. thanks for the reply lol

There's nothing you can do, this fix has been removed, but I leave the video up for SEO purposes. Then people discover my many other helpful videos. All you can do is restore and rejailbeak or what I recommend is UPGRADE and USE CYDIA! It's much better.

I could not tell you what would happen, but it's not recommended for 1.1.1, so I wouldn't try it. However, I HIGHLY recommend, that you upgrade. There are many apps that you are missing out on, because they are not compatible with 1.1.1.

Your iPod seems seriously messed up man. What you need to do is restore it to factory settings (because jailbreaking voids warrenty) then take it to an Apple store, or call their technical support and they'll ship you a box and fix it or send you a new one. If you restore it to factory settings, it's nearly impossible for them to know you jailbroke it, just be sure NOT to mention that you did. GOOD LUCK!

its not messeed up....all u need to do is wen u restore and re-jailbreak it.... go to contacts go in to name and type anything for 10 seconds then update intaller and it will work...i know i had the same problem

HOW TO [[REALLY]] FIX IT:

Search in "All Packages" for "BossTool" it will be called EXCATLY "BossTool" !! Install it! If it doesn't let you install it, make sure you click "Clear Queue" before trying to install again.
