  • you know master of reality is the first album tony iommi uses c# tuning on every song not standard tuning

  • dude can u please do the second solo of nib cause i cant find that any where on youtube and i would like to learn it and i think u could do a great job cause you're a good teacher

  • Love Your voice!

  • my apologies, but fuck balls this song is good!!

  • That sounds right on the money . What do you use to get the sound ? Not the usual Iommi fuzz sound on that song.

  • Good help thanks! Only thing is Tony is doesnt pluck the last 3 strings with his fingers, he's using a pick. Listen closley ;)

  • Good help thanks! Only thing is Tony is doesnt pluck the last 3 strings. Listen closley ;)

  • i sprained my wrist and broke my foot last night in a bike crash and the first thing i did this morning when i get out of the hospital was go home and rock out to this

  • awsome i like this thanx it helped alot

  • Awesome! I just started learning guitar and this is the first song I've learned! Thanks

  • Hello Bob! I am from Poland, my eglish language is not good enough but I hope I am understood. Your lessons are amazing and I have to really thank You for this. I love Black Sabbath, especially this song and now I can play it. Thank You very much. Greetings from Poland.

  • Great work mate, really did a great job.

    Love from Aus.

  • Thanks Bro......

  • Too bad there was no youtube in the early 80's.

  • Beautiful, thank you much.

  • after years of loving listening to guitar,. many metal bands from the 70s, I just bought my first guitar. mainly to play Black Sabbath and Led Zeppelin acoustic. this is the first song I have learned to play. I am so happy, my girlfriend likes listening and so do my dogs.

this is the best for learning. my first song.

    Thank You so much.

  • thanks mr bobby......you make my life more happy, when you teach me play songs of BLACK SABBATH ....again thanks!!!

  • nice,you nailed the tone :P

  • so much emotion with this tune. I would love a lesson on bit of finger. but either way. I always enjoy your lessons. If I ever make it to Canada I will try to look you up and buy you a drink. thanks for all you have done for all of us. Peace Joe

  • Very nice job!!

Thanks a lot!!! I'm learning guitar and this video really helped me!!!

  • 3:09 me quede estancado ahi. alguien me ayuda, no entiendo el ingles. alguien me explica en español??

  • can please upload a vid showing how to play mirror mirror of blind guardian?

  • Yep, rhythm is wrong. I can't stand these kids today who play with tabs. If you can't learn a song by ear, you shouldn't play the guitar. You have to hear it to feel it. If you can't feel it, you can't play it.

  • thanks for posting!

  • great lesson on a great song, bob. keep up the great work (really helps lazy slobs like myself who can't figure out songs for sh*t! lol!)

  • brilliant and very cleverly talented

  • i love you bob.

  • The rhythm is not correct

  • I always thought this song was played in C#, and I always played it that way. This version sounds well-played, but the tuning sounds much higher. Am I wrong? I very well might be, as my hearing is terrible, but I learnt this song out of a Black Sabbath music book, where it stated to play in C#. However, I know many of those books are total rubbish, so I will trust you.

  • yes it is played in C#

Tony Iommi couldn't play on standard tuning anymore because he had an accident....

  • How did he play the songs from the first two albums then, and how does he play those live now?

  • Accidents dont have to strech for eternity. This means, he was handicapped while making this song... goddamnit.

  • Thanks, I was just curious.

  • @drubermensch he made some pieces of plastic to slot on his fingers

  • im craving lemon pepper wings.

    great song great vid.

    cheers man!

  • thanx!

  • Thanx man, keep learning us stooges!

  • Dude those Gibsons have a nice warm sound. What are you amp settings?

  • you're great !! now i can play it !! thank you!!

  • great!!!

  • Great lesson for a great song. One stupid question....what kind of amp settings are you using to get that sound?

  • nice lesson

  • im pretty sure when he first moves into the Gm / F sequence, it's actually G / F and then Gm / F from then on.

  • merci :)
