@jebmoxley I wasn't trying to stand up for Texas cops. I was originally going by statistics of the states with the highest amount of excessive force and misconduct by police, then I realised that in general US Law is pretty harsh.

I never identify myself as a Texan unless I'm doing so in a sarcastic manner. But all the things you hear about Texas are mostly true. I think it's the isolation that many Texans live in as new ideas don't spread easily outside of the major cities.
