this liverpool squad was so fuck miserly.. you couldn't play against this liverpool defence and the team moved the ball quickly .. they played like a unit.. they played the fluent spanish style when they attacked and played the old school fucking in your face british style defence.. this was the reason that they were rarely beaten.. it was a good combination...the liverpool of today lacks these characteristics.. they lost alonso what added tot he slick offence and they lost hyypia who was a wall
