Shugo why are you not known in the USA! He has such a unique sound that I simply love. He is so much more talented then bands like radiohead that get over hyped and over rated. He is the most honest, creative, interesting, and fun musician out there right now. How can you not like this song or Shugo!

Well that's just your taste. I like instrumental music even though their lyrics are shit. The way I personally appreciate most music in a foreign language is by simply taking vocals as a separate instrument in the composition. All sound, not necessarily meaning. I find that even in my own language and English, I tend to appreciate songs with more abstract lyrics.

I wouldn't be surprised if this is actually a very sad song. The Japanese have a way of making the most depressive songs sound happy.
