help wit gmod (addons) REMAKE

where do i put npcs i got the portal turrets (one good one bad) on the download screen it said to put it in sourcemods i think... but when i start playing it wont show up in my npcs help plz i also got the strider pack 2 :-)

do weapons or nukes go in an addon folder?

some of them do. most of the nukes go in the addon (most). then some of the weapeons go in the addons to. but sometimes they dont and they go in lua. getting addons to work is diffenitly a big joke. not fun to do. :)
