There ARE animations on all the screen effects tilt ect. GO to display and turn on the animations. simple there are lots of them. You also forgot there are 21 home screens. when you go into settings from your home screen and select profiles. theres presonal weekend and work. so tech theres 21. hope this helps. the animations are nice and he never noticed them. if you have and X2 try it out.

@caspianlover1 I would always say get an android phone but i think the iphone 4 because of the build quality, design and Retina Display. If your on verizon wireless get the Samsung Droid Charge (Touchwiz 3.0 is similar to ios) or HTC Thunderbolt. but better still wait for the Droid Bionic.

@MrZacyoung i have the droid x2 and i love it. Best smartphone ive had. If you think you would use the keyboard go with the droid 3. If not, the droid x2 has a larger screen and is nice for web browsing and watching videos. Hope this helped!

@FUTUREsniper13 believe it or not, there is a difference. i had a samsung galaxy s 4g on tmobile as my very first smart phone. i had it for 5 months. 3 days ago it was replaced by the sony xperia play which is 3g, and tmobiles 4g is VERY much faster than verizons 3g. verizons 3g speed agrivates me. maybe its just the xperia play, but its slow.

HELP! For some reason one day my Droid X restarts and half of the apps I have downloaded and installed have uninstalled. I have no idea why this happened and when I go to the android market, it doesnt let me download anything. When i use the Amazon app store, it lets me buy apps but it wont install them. Aaron- a suggestion- you should be more harsh with your reviews. Pick a few different prices ranges for phones and find the best one at that price and if other phones at the same price aren't as good, they should be considered subpar. We also need to get rid of the tradeoff notion- you shouldn't have to have either fast pinch to zoom or checkerboarding- especially on the dual core phones. Lag should not be acceptable over the $50 range. Just a suggestion...
