Enjoying it, but I severely doubt that a fighter, any fighter, is capable of getting through a starship's shields. Not to the effect those TIE fighters did.
But it's still enjoyable. Nice to see some Brits in Star Trek for a change!
@VinnyMonster1 Hiya thanks so much - a few people have commented that there aren't too many Brit-made Trek fan films. Mind you making one is a pretty bonkers thing to do so perhaps we're too reserved? Glad you enjoyed ATTOTG! Tell your friends! There's usually a British actor thrown into the Paramount crews for good measure, except maybe Voyager? Put me right on this if there is one!
@VinnyMonster1 In fact the mismatch between the TIES and the Hood has been mentioned before and I explained it by interference from the Nebula, as well as being caught by surprise - and it IS Vader after all, rather than any old Imperial pilot. The Force is strong in this one!
@VinnyMonster1 Sure! But it's always the writer that gets it in the kneecaps when there's some kind of continuity error! You need a get-out clause for every hole the fanbase finds! Mercifully, I researched it pretty thoroughly when I wrote it so there's only a couple in ATOTG! Cheers! LOL
Thanks for the comments! It's not just any Tie, it is Darth Vader, and he could've used the Force to weaken the sheilds. There'd also already been an explosion in that section. We also know that Mutara Class nebulae can have a derogatory effect on the shield effectiveness of Federation ships of that era. (The Wrath Of Khan) Why not start a discussion about it on our forum on the website?
Impressive, most impressive. I find it for a non profit fan film to be really great. Acting and effects were great and believable but I found the system you used to record the voices have too much of an echo and were not top notch quality, but I understand that funding is limited. I enjoyed ever second of it. Great job.
The sound quality was always an issue that troubled me. The problems being the room we shot all the live action in, is the same size as the visible set, i.e Phil's dining room. Also I had to leave the boom microphone in the hand of people how hadn't used one before and we only had 1 mic, so it came out pretty well all thing considered. The Sound Quality will be better on the finial full version.
Thanks for watching, its always good to hear a positive voice. Part 2 "Revenge is a Sith is best served cold!" will be finished in a couple of weeks. Not long to wait now.
I can't wait for the next one-this is up there with Star Trek New Voyages(you know the one with the planet killer sequal with the guy who played Commadore Decker). Increasing speed to warp 9.8/10
Thanks for the Thumbs up dude. When we started making this film we never thought it was going to be so we received. And comparing us to the New Voyages is very flattering, very nice... :)
Hi Wolfmaster, Thanks for the feedback. Most Startrek episodes last about 42 minutes and have a very relaxed pace(character development and filler). We used probably more plot and squished it into 25 minutes (nothing to do with time restraints really...honest!).
I wanted to inject more pace into the film, to get you onto the edge of your seat and itching to see the Part2. Which will be available in December.

I really don't think TIEs can outgun a starship but good crossover.

@Straitjacket2007 Yeah, that's the problem with fanbases, there's a LOT of uber nitpicky people out there.

Cheers for your comments. Director Hastings is an gent from a branch of Starfleet security that answers to no one. See DS9 episodes "Inquisition"
"Inter Arma Enim Silent Leges"
"When It Rains..."
"Tacking Into the Wind"
"Extreme Measures" or Enterprise episodes
"Affliction"
"Divergence"
"Terra Prime
Of course the crew of the Hood are unaware of his Section 31 commitments! Thanks for watching!
