@rayRiSA0929 Sorry, no. Yoshiki did not do any musical performance at ACen. He basically showed his History of X Japan documentary video and then walked on stage for a Q&A session with the audience.

Maybe I might be the only on here that thinks this, but I was put off by YOSHIKI essentially hijacking the entire Masquerade for his own use. All right, fine, so he's a real huge star and (as can be evidenced by this comment thread) X Japan's got a lot of fans. But all this came at the expense of the cosplay skits and ALL of the award-winners, when the award ceremony got crushed out because of time.

Yea they told us not to film but, They know dang well that there are a few that take photos and videos , for postarity like I do sometimes, still, I waited till after the film to photograph a few pictures of him.

I figured that he would make an apperance, I told the guy next to me when the webcast quote went bad, that I wouldn't it be epic if he walked on stage and that I bet he would.

@Knightmessenger Sony Cyber-shot DSC-HX1 9.1MP Digital HD Camera, sat In the back of the room, using a cheap tripod to hold the camera. Better to have a tripod with fluid motion pan and tilt. Bought the camera just for this year's ACen. Well worth it!

@anim8trix Do you know if the camera has different aspect ratio options. Because while the camera looks really good, shooting in widescreen presents the challenge of formatting it properly for standard and 16x9 televisions, I don't think my dvd recorder can encode discs anamorphically.

Also, you really should adjust the focus and exposure manually. The difference can be pretty stunning.

@Knightmessenger The Cyber-shot camera I used did not have different aspect ratios that I could find. I was more interested in the full HD which is essentially widescreen. I'm very glad I was able to capture this event in Hi-Def.

@morbidxxxraven I thought the awards were very unfocused and haphazardly given out at the end so although I recorded them, it was hard for me to put forth full effort into the filming at that point. I was pretty tired from holding the camera above my shoulders while sitting down in the crowd.

I can let you know more when I make the dvd transfers in a day or two.
