This is fake. We don't have that kind of technology today to get *that* close to Jupiter, let alone *inside* it. There's actually a space mission (Juno I think it's called) that will try to penetrate Jupiter's atmosphere.
@danthemanzizzle Whether the comet fragment ever hit the liquid hydrogen is open to debate. Perhaps it depended on the composition of the comet. I would assume that a comet made up of ice would disintegrate faster than the ones composed of metals. Studies of crash sites of some fragment indicated that there were several different types of metal that welled up from the crash point while other fragments hardly left any indication.
@SparklesofUnity That’s the comet going through layers of clouds on Jupiter. As it falls, it breaks apart. Not sure if it ever impacts the liquid hydrogen ocean which is a million times the density of earth’s atmosphere and at a temperature of 17,000 degrees F
