In my opinion, Mass Effect one was WAY better than the second, that OH SHIT moment, when you realised that Sovereign was a Reaper and how good of an enemy and 'friend' Saren was, I really felt sorry for him, the path to Hell was paved with good intentions. = ( The atmosphere was just so much better, and so much more threatening, plus I found the Geth to be much more fun to fight than the Collectors, they were pretty repetative.

I'm not sure about that. I choose Liara as my love interest, too, but her personality changed completely in the second game and I got the impression they were phasing her out as a love interesting, although I'm sure she'll make a cameo in the next game.

Don't forget, the Star Wars universe has been around for decades and the novelty of the Force and lightstabers and Jedi Knights, etc., has probably worn off for most long-time fans. But I agree that the Mass Effect universe is every bit as interesting as the Star Wars mythos. Mass Effect tries harder to familiarize us with the customs and individual personalities of its alien races. Species like the asari and turians have greater depth than many Star Wars aliens, such Wookies and Rodians.

I dunno. I seem to do rather well with a Vanguard Shepard, Tali and Ashley. But hey, that's just me.

You can win with all parties even if playing insanity. Depends on which methods of fighting you like most. I used to take Kaidan and Liara with me for I usually play Sentinel using all sorts of biotics. Tried to play different last time and build up Tali's skills - which do great against non-organics - and Wrex' strengths. Worked as well with Garrus and Ash. You need to adjust to their abilities, that's all. ;)

That's my favourite team as well. It's my second playthrough and all of my best talents and powers are maxed out. It takes a lot of foolishness to lose a firefight, even on hardcore. I think I'm in a bit of trouble and then Liara levitates everyone who's giving me hastle. Plus the immunity skill makes things ridiculously easy.

*nods* wait till your doing insanity mode lol it's actually hard :P (luckily you can add some cheapness by lvling in hard/normal/easy mode then switching over right before beating final boss ^_^ (still have to beat the game again in insanity though just lets you play with your lvl 60 epicness :P)

Great Tribute. Mass Effect was truly The best RPG game of the year and Wrex was my favorite Squad Mate.

As for this tribute, I loved the music chosen for the video and I felt the scenes used were a great summary of how epic Mass Effect was.

I did. The newer version of "Mad world" is an uncommon choice for a game like GoW in my opinion- but I hear it was in the original game as well. Anyway, it's hard to combine a game like that with a music that sad and I think you did alright. I had it much easier. :)

Eh, I have been trying to look at the images in the visions for a while now, but it has proven difficult because of how fast they go. All I've gotten so far is some machinery [obvious] and a quick glimpse of the Citadel.

You can see some (obviously quite desperate) Protheans, too. But most of it is kept quite abstract by intention. Think they just wanted it to appear as some kind of bad dream or very unclear and a little mystical vision - which they succeded with in my opinion. :)

Edit: The parts of the vision you see in my vids are not the whole vision you actually see after Liara makes sense of it. It changes a lot. The last one is much clearer than the shortcuts in my vid.

That's correct. It's always been one of my favourite songs since I played Prey. :)

It wasn't easy at first to get a legal copy at that time - for AfterMidnightProject wasn't to be found on any legal DL-server I knew.

I was pretty happy when "Bite Me" finally came out on Direct Song. It was a collection inspired by Prey and included "Take me home".

Needless to say I bought it on the spot. ^^
