CeeCee was a co-worker and friend of my father, after playing this for him he is finally searching for the truth and doesn't buy the official story. I understand why he buried his head in the sand for so long, the loss of so many co-workers and some close friends on both United planes really hurt him deeply. Because her and her husband did not have children together. They were married and she had two kids and he had two kids. She was probably so calm because she is a flight attendant, they are trained to stay calm in those situations.
When she called, she was about 2 miles above air. Cell phone transmission goes up to 5 miles up in the air. You can use your cell phone, you just aren't suppose to cause it interferes with airplane transmission and signals. Anyway arguing over that is petty.. this woman lost her life, and this was some of her last words said. A sad message to her husband. May she R.I.P I truly believe her and everyone else on Flight 93 died a hero.

To the people who claim they couldn't make phone calls from the air in 2001: I had made many flights prior to 2001 and at least since the late 1990s there were GE Airphones in the back of just about each seat. You swiped your card, and for an exorbitant rate you could make a phone call from the air. That's how these people made calls. They were installed because they allowed people to make calls without interfering with instruments in the cockpit.

people say you can't make cell phone calls from a plane BUT i have before.. i tried a few times and it didn't work.. but another time i tried i got through to my dad and we was chatting for about 4 minutes.
sometimes cell phones work on a plane and some time they don't, its just luck. when my call got through to my dad we was very high up over the atlantic ocean going to France.
@davidjkus no this was only 2 years ago, 2009. i tried to call my dad 5 times from plane and 4 times it did not work but the last time it did work. i did it from the toilet as it was important cause mom was in hospital with new baby. on my expereince if you keep trying eventually the call will get through.

Couldn't they analyse all the phone calls and look at them in the frequency domain. There's ways of telling by looking at an audio signals frequency components what envrionment it was recorded in. A recording in a plane would show some characteristics that aren't there in most envrionments

Another way is if a passenger called someone on the ground and spoke with them telling them that the plane was hijacked...then the person on the ground would've told the passenger in the plane that the towers had been struck.
It would have been impossible to call any passengers on the plane on their cell phones back in 2001. The only way passengers could've found out about the towers is if the pilot made an announcement and so far I've never heard of any of the pilots making annoucements of that sort on that day.

Also it was a lady saying you did great. Probably a fellow flight attendant. And to the person who submitted this video she did say MY children. Because her and her husband did not have children together. They were married and she had two kids and he had two kids. She was probably so calm because she is a flight attendant, they are trained to stay calm in those situations.

When she called, she was about 2 miles above air. Cell phone transmission goes up to 5 miles up in the air. You can use your cell phone, you just aren't suppose to cause it interferes with airplane transmission and signals. Anyway arguing over that is petty.. this woman lost her life, and this was some of her last words said. A sad message to her husband. May she R.I.P I truly believe her and everyone else on Flight 93 died a hero.

She can clearly be heard hanging up a bakelite phone. Explain that away? This call was not made a 'cellphone', or from any 'plane'. She was one of the few people who made calls speaking of 'terrorists'. The rest were speaking of planes crashing into the WTC and the Pentagon.
I'll leave it up to your own imagination where she made the call and what actually happened to her.

To the people who claim they couldn't make phone calls from the air in 2001: I had made many flights prior to 2001 and at least since the late 1990s there were GE Airphones in the back of just about each seat. You swiped your card, and for an exorbitant rate you could make a phone call from the air. That's how these people made calls. They were installed because they allowed people to make calls without interfering with instruments in the cockpit.

people say you can't make cell phone calls from a plane BUT i have before.. i tried a few times and it didn't work.. but another time i tried i got through to my dad and we was chatting for about 4 minutes.
sometimes cell phones work on a plane and some time they don't, its just luck. when my call got through to my dad we was very high up over the atlantic ocean going to France.

@davidjkus no this was only 2 years ago, 2009. i tried to call my dad 5 times from plane and 4 times it did not work but the last time it did work. i did it from the toilet as it was important cause mom was in hospital with new baby. on my expereince if you keep trying eventually the call will get through.

What bothers me the most is that her license was supposedly found at the PA "crash" no scratch on it but the part that skeeves me is the issue date of 1997. It says her last name is "Lyles" on it. Well, she didnt have that last name of Lyles until 2000.She was married to a man last name Castrillo in 1994 and dissolution of marriage filed 4/23/1999 from Castrillo. Her marriage records indicate she married Lorne Von Lyles on 5/1/2000.License photo I seen is from Moussaoui trial exhibit #P200069.

I bet she was being told that everything would be fine if she made this call and it was not made from inside a hijacked plane.Normal people calling from a hostage situation do not waste time repeating unimportant details. Couldn't they analyse all the phone calls and look at them in the frequency domain. There's ways of telling by looking at an audio signals frequency components what envrionment it was recorded in. A recording in a plane would show some characteristics that aren't there in most envrionments

Another way is if a passenger called someone on the ground and spoke with them telling them that the plane was hijacked...then the person on the ground would've told the passenger in the plane that the towers had been struck.

It would have been impossible to call any passengers on the plane on their cell phones back in 2001. The only way passengers could've found out about the towers is if the pilot made an announcement and so far I've never heard of any of the pilots making annoucements of that sort on that day.

@sankofa669, first of all, the plane wasnt 30,000 ft in the air when the calls were made! More like 4-5000 ft. There is/was POSITIVELY cell towers in the area of the plane that were at elevations up to 3000 ft. Cee Cee Lyles and Ed Felt were able to connect but were cut off after a few minutes. The rest used Airfones (Lyles' 1st call was from AF). These are documented, including times, numbers, and length of connections. Dumbass.

If CeeCee knew she was going to die, and knew she was recording a message, she could have easily yelled "It's a hoax!" and there's nothing anybody could have done to stop her, thus emperiling the entire conspiracy. Turn the volume RIGHT UP..during the cluncking of the phone going down @ 0:41 theyres a female voice says "Sorry" like the automated ones you get "Sorry we couldnt connect this call" etc... why is this? its DEFINITELY there

Okay, first off I do not know what to believe anymore but the reason she said "my children" was because they were not his, they were from her previous marriage.. I honestly would not have thought of saying their ethnicity. As for the "you did great" You could tell she was keeping calm on the phone but really was scared to death and I am guessing that someone was just telling her she held herself together well.

Heartbreaking. But I'd like to know one thing: Why are these these total LUNATICS that think 9-11 was some grand "conspiracy" using these calls to advance their absurd beliefs? Do they not have one shred of decency? These are the last they would ever be able to utter to their loved ones. The first damn words outta my mouth would have been "We've been hijacked by Arab Terrorists" or Palestinians or Iranians or Middle Easter looking men or something. Not ONE of the phone calls mentions ethnicity of the hijackers, NOT ONE.
The husband saw her cell number in his recorder. cell phones don't work at 30,000 feet so she musta been on the ground when she made her call.

Her husband got the msg on the answering machine and it showed her name on the caller ID which means she used her cell phone. Cell phone didn't work at alts above 4 thousand feet back in 2001. We can only deduce that she made the call from the ground. At the end of her last sentence you can hear "you did great" from an unknown voice.

If you would have actually done some research (to steal a ridiculous phrase from CTers), you'd know that Lyle's called 1st from a Airfone, got the answering machine because her husband was sleeping, then tried again on her cell phone, and was able to connect long enough to speak to her husband, who did answer the 2nd time. It's all documented. Oh...yeah, "they" faked the documentation, because you need it to be true so your CT will seem more truthful!
