To go along with my last post what I was saying about there are people who hadnt seen American Werewolf.....it makes me sad that alot of people hadnt seen the classics...perfect example is when I went and seen the new prequel to THE THING last year and when the movie was over a teenager or maybe even a 20 year old said "yep..theres gonna be a sequel"......i wanted to punch him right then and say "u fuckin idiot! They made the sequel in 1982" lol
Thanx....i didnt want to do exactly the same lines as "i didnt mean to call u meatloaf jack" cause yes there are some people out there who havnt seen American Werewolf in London (as sad as that is) and im afraid they would see it and think "wtf does that mean" lol. but im glad u enjoyed it. If I had more time I wuda done alot more with effects but I think I pulled it off for now.
damn!!! congrats man this is really good....and yes i do love the london tribute.....i was surprised you didnt mention the meatloaf bit though lol i was waiting....but this is very creative!!!!...please respond!!!!!
We were thinking of doing a short werewolf film with American Werewolf in London references all in it! Can you check out our channel, it's just getting started, but could you subscribe?
POST CONT:.....the face growing was simple..it was done in silouette. I took my wolf mask, put my hands in it like a puppet, pulled the snout back in the mask then pushed it back out. Sound effects for bones was just a potato chip bag being crumbled up. Well thats it. I hope i helped u out. If u have any questions comment me back. HAVE FUN..GOOD LUCK..and most of all BEWARE THE MOON
LAST POST CONT:....the large teeth i glued on my lips. The skin was two spandex shirts u can buy at walmart for $12 each. I drew my tatts on them and spray painted them flesh color and added hair. When u dont have money for a professional latex suit...painted spandex works great. The buldging skin is just balloons with tubes for people off camera to blow air thru. The spine is just a broom handle with a backbone shape made to it. Put it under the spandex shirt and lift...
Hi everyone..matt crabtree here and im gonna explain and give away the secrets to this video so hopefully it will help all of u in future werewolf transformations when u dont have alot of money.....first lighting is important. It can hide flaws.....feet stretching just do a few angles of u standing on ur tippy toes and it will give that stretch illusion....teeth, i had 3 sets. One set is growing teeth u can get for $10. The other set is just caps and the big set were teeth i cut off a mask.
Hey everyone. Thanx for liking thos video. It was fun to do. Its very very simple. Balloons, hair, teeth, contacts, and spandex...and alot of screaming lol
I really like this stuff. I also like the fact that you made the transformation while watching the Wolf Man movie.
Kudos to the cool horror related items in your room from the Elvira poster to the other props. Fun pain and thrills in this trnasformation! Thumbs up. I think it is the lighting in the film, most particuarly the TV flicker that helps create the mood.
I like it :D it was pretty epic! great effects!
