@DJ80s Most of them appeared in multiple episodes. This one apparently came at the end of "Nightmare Planet", "Fight Or Flee" and "Carnage In C-Minor".
I believe the overall unifying idea is that the Quintessons invented the Transformers' (non-transforming) progenitors as products, Primus kick-started their evolution to sentience, Vector Sigma is the vessel through which Primus manifests, and is used to give new Transformers life and sentience.
Only in the Marvel Comics continuity (see the "Quintessons" article on Wikipedia).
From both the "Unicron" and "Quintessons" entries: "In interviews, Flint Dille mentioned that, if the series had gone on to a fourth season, it would have featured Unicron teaming up with the Quintessons."
As far as the animated series goes, the Quintessons and Unicron didn't have anything to do with each other.. yet. (Although Call of the Primitives puts only a couple of degrees of separation between them.)
well AeonMagnus G1 did have 4 seasons sometimes i wonder what would have happend if Takara din't do there own shows and gave that money to Sunbow would G1 have continued? (one of the reasons G1 ended was money, season 4 had 5 episodes planed yet only had a budget for 3! thanks Takara who knows a budget for 35 Headmasters episodes chould have been 15 G1 episodes again AAAAARCH!)
I was quoting directly from the Wikipedia article.
Rebirth is regarded as Season 4, but I believe Flint was referring to a full-length Season 4, instead of the mini-series we got.
There's a reason Rebirth is a bit spotty - they were winding up the series due to falling ratings, but wanted to cram in one last chance to advertise the newest toys, so the bulk of it is about characters we've never heard of before; clones, double agents (Punch), Headmasters, Targetmasters and city-bots.
true David Wise (writter) said he made the story so it would A end the main plot (second golden age,new energie on Cyberton) and B left it open for a season 5 (sob) or a new series (chould have been that G2 thing from the 1990s) yeah the retings but still season 4 would have been longer if there was a bigger budget at least 2 episodes where cut from that ''season'' Wise now had 3 eps for his 5 ep script he had to re-write the script! still season 4 should have been something like 10-30 eps
(1) im sorry to say that some things on that wikipedia are things that are what fans (like me) think like Vector Sigma the show never said that the Quitessons created it its possible but i do think Vector Sigma is beyond Quint tech its unclear where it comes from some think its whats left of Primus or is Primus
(2) aw man Aeonmagnus beat me too it but he's right but i do have something to add if G1 continued and Flint Dille did do it it would have been so cool AAAARCH i already think G1 went 30 something episodes before its time AAAARCH SON OF A....i wish i din't know this WAAAAAAH OH GOD! ...man...
What did it say at 1:13? "Their plot destroyed the Autobots' fate?" Meh…

Uhhhhhhhh.... I'm confused. Didn't Vector Sigma give the Transformers life?

@Darkusworld1 It's complicated.
