@MrCooldude9090 at the shooting range they have sessions for kids ages 6-12 that can be dropped off and supervised by their staff specifically for kids and supply 22 rifles for the kids to shoot targets (of course guided by a staff member), safety lessons and everything. I live in CA and I know there is no bad parenting in showing and guiding your kid how to shoot a gun. As long as you're there and know what you are doing everything is perfectly fine!

I've shot guns since I was 3 :P Starting with a 22 rifle that my Dad held as I pulled the trigger to now I'm 13 and I'm shooting Skeets in Comps with 12 gauges,shooting 303.,308., and I've messed around with 100 year old double barrel shotguns and a Mossburg 12 gauge with a red dot sight :P My shooting experiences never end!

We encourage people to stick up for themselves, not to go round slashing things with knives. Look up the Dunblane shootings in 1995, that was all it took. Tell me one thing. Why is the sale of M-16 rifles, Uzi`s and M-60`s legal in the states? Who goes hunting with an assault rifle? Fuckin nutters thats who. The sad thing is that people think gun ownership makes them safer.

Secondly, we DON'T need reason to own assault rifles and SMG's, our right to own guns is in the Bill of RIGHTS not the Bill of NEEDS. Thirdly, most of those gun deaths happen in inner cities of America, were guns are typically VERY restricted.

yeah, but if you outlaw guns people will still buy guns. the people who commit the crimes dont obey the law. if you were to outlaw guns in the states, no one would care. there are too many guns in the country to get rid of them all. also, some people collect guns. i agree that it is strange to like collecting military weapons for no reason whatsoever, but shooting can be fun. it is a sport and a hobby as well as for self defense.

@BravoOscar100 In Japan, most guns (excluding some rifles and handguns) are illegal, and it's very hard to get a liscence. As a result, there is almost no gun related crime there. Arguing that we shouldn't illegalize guns because they will be bought anyway is like arguing that dangerous drugs shouldn't be illegalized because they'll be bought anyways. However, I am not advocating we illegalize guns. I'm just saying that we should have MUCH stricter gun laws. (In terms of getting liscences).

@DuffleMuffins unlike many countries in the world whos goverments ban firearms, in america the reason we are alowed to ownd a fire arm isnt for hunting or self defence ageinst a person attacking you its so if the government ever got to out of hand (like some how took over in a dictatorship or some crazy thing) we could protect our selves from the government. its a last means of defence because the millitary would act a coup d'etat my opinion if we have more strickt gun control laws ...........

I've shot guns since I was 3 :P Starting with a 22 rifle that my Dad held as I pulled the trigger to now I'm 13 and I'm shooting Skeets in Comps with 12 gauges,shooting 303.,308., and I've messed around with 100 year old double barrel shotguns and a Mossburg 12 gauge with a red dot sight :P My shooting experiences never end!
