@ruthlessone3k yea but the bigger power car always pulls on the big end. he almost ran him down even with the poor rt. and it does matter whos pulling on the big end if your opponent runs you down and beats you. on the talons side though he does have an ass load more work to launch that car then the stang thats probably leaving on a trans brake.
@nallen100 If your trying to say that high hp cars always pull more on the top end, then your just misinformed It all depends how its geared and where the torque is in the rpm range. most V8's pull harder on the lower end of the rpm range. and yes the talon would probably be harder to control although the awd would give him a traction advantage. But top end only matters if you can get past the other car. which he didn't

@ruthlessone3k AWD is not an advantage when your pushing over 750hp+ so you should rethink that. I have yet to see a AWD car run 6s or faster unlike rear or front wheel. Awd is a big disadvantage after high hp cus you have to run 4 slicks and if you've never tried driving on all 4s then you should haha its like driving on ice.
And its not like you can warm up slicks perfectly everytime, the car is made to hook unlike rwd and fwd you cant burnout intensly
@10SecLightning yeah, you're probably right. with this much horse power he's probably fighting it more than its helping him. but I know that some of the AWD drag racers setup their center diff so the can transfer all the power to the rear to heat the tires up and then move some to the front to launch. I'm not sure if his car is setup like this or not. Either way its still pretty impressive for an awd riceburner.

@cotequadsport Not anymore. The car has no front lights and no coolant running through the engine. He was making sub 10 sec passes while still driving it on the street, possibly even sub 9 sec.
His license plate used to say "8 sec". There are pictures of his car with a child's seat in the back, and videos of it driving on the street to the track, and running an 8 second pass. Pretty amazing.

@crazykillas only reason i mentioned bodies is ive never seen a mod'd stang under 10 seconds that wasnt atleast front halfed or full tube frame with lex glass. Which the stang in the video very well could be. And that the talons body is factory. There should be no excuses made on this video. Besides the fact that the talon ran 1/10 faster. The AWD 4 cyl was pulling the stang hard on the TOP end even. There goes the "disadvantage" of awd on a roll.

@nallen100 you haven't seen any because you haven't looked, they dominate stock suspension classes around the country... like i said there have been full steal body mustangs a lot fucking faster than his talon. this video doesn't prove anything other than he ran a lesser car and couldn't leave worth a shit on the line and did you even pay attention to how unstable that awd car is on the top end? he didnt "win" shit, he had a faster et and a slower r/t allowing the mustang to have him by a car
