  • Nice playing. Best from Canada!

    Jesse

  • Capable player but too fast - better to get it right at a lesser tempo than fast and flawed. Sorry!!

  • @milemuncherbiker play it better, and then repeat your statement

  • I love the way these guys start off like "duh...duh....DUHDUHDUHDUHDUHDUHDUHDUHDUH."

...do you know what i mean? :P

  • go simon!! love pablo xx

  • liking it... ;)

Better than your guitar playing then simon? =D

  • No, but that's too fast. The concertina sounds like its running away.

  • Sorry lads, but it is clearly proved by this video that english concertinas can be even better than anglo concertinas for playing irish music. Serious playing Simon!

  • Thanks just great ... What fun !! All the best Guy

    Beijos

    Cindy-Liz

  • great playing

  • phantastisch

  • Superbly played but I still think Madam Bonaparte should not be played at that speed.

  • you must not have been listening to noel because you are suppose to have in on your knee but only your writting hand side, if that makes sense

  • What a wonderful viedo!

I am only a begginner in this world of anglo concertina, but I think that to play as Simon plays must have a lot of hour and hour of practise.

    Congratulations, Simon.

  • Very impressive indeed! Always facinates me how a person can play this good without watching which buttons are pressed!

  • I prefer it when they start with a slow number, then about halfway through they suddenly start playing a faster number and somebody alsways shouts HEEEUUGGHHH!!! at this moment- which, I presume, is an old "Celtique" tradition. What is the purpose of this please?

  • hmmm. the expression "pearls before swine comes to mind...

  • Nicely improvised recitation preceded by a badly advised pronunciation.

    Do ye do 'Captain Pugwash'?

  • simon tumor

  • Brilliant, but why does refer to himself a Simon "Chair"? What's that about- is it some sort of "Celtique" thing?

    Vety talented artist

  • lol he said thoumire but you have to listen closely to hear it through his accent

  • dude. truly awesome.

  • How much did that cost you? and how long did it take you to play that? i think i could really get into an instrument like this!

  • Muy bueno e instructivo

    Guille de Argentina

  • Incredible

  • Great!

  • Simon is my cousin! :)

  • Awesome I just ordered a concertina off of Ebay can't wait till it gets here. lol

  • Very, very awesome! Instant favorite!

  • Your video clip is great and I've rated it as awesome. Please check out mine on some 1920's trading cards of musical instruments, including the Concertina.

  • Guess that's what I get for missing the first 20 seconds of the clip. Thanks for the petulance!

  • now thats the type of music that us dancers like to dance to, great playing!!!

  • oh wow! thats so cool...

Thanks for the info, and keep posting videos. You're a talented musician.

  • Im a piano accordion player. I was wondering, are the notes on a concertina similarly layed out to the top 2 rows on the bass side of a piano accordion?

  • No. one side is the lines on the stave and the other is the spaces.

  • wow! that was simply fantastic! I loved the outro there. Amazing, post some more when ya get the chance. Cheers to ya lad!

  • That was fucking amazing.

    clearly a professional!

    wicked stuff,please post more!!

  • haha you dumbass, he names them at the begining. He's so funky

  • Good stuff. Can someone identify the tunes?

  • Apart from the fact that they are a) written down at the start and b) he names them what exactly do you need?

  • Braw.

  • Amazing.
