Those things are funny looking but they r great bikes my dad has always riden bmw's mainly street bike but still. I have to admit I ride a yamaha motocross bike but I would love to try one of those my only concern would be the weight anyway great vid
The perfect multi role bike can't be created. I've tried the GS and the road version of the HP2. This one looks like it would be a LOT of fun on forest tracks and you wouldn't mind a few miles on the road to get there and back.
I just dont think i could buy a 21 thousand dollar dirtbike. I mean dont get me wrong, if i had the money and could afford it i would buy one but i dont know if i could trash it offroad. I would rather buy a suzuki.
@x200mphblurrrr lol, I agree. My motorbike that I take off-road is more than 20 years old. But it still goes like a charm and can handle almost anything!
That guy was riding slick mud and deep puddles on the stock tires. You can't blame him for being careful. Obviously a lighter bike will handle better in the dirt. The HP2 is what it is.
This bike needs muscle and guts to ride it as it should be (100Hp in the dirt is far from easy to handle). If you are not up to it you'd better buy something else. I dont't see any reason for someone to blame the bike because he is incapable of riding it. The bike is great, with great handling and a lot beleive me a lot of power. The lees of you bozos buy it the better for us......
386 pounds, way too heavy I'll stick to the yz's, the honda's, and the kawasaki kx's. An'd for that price, OH MY GAWSH. once again BMW has failed to make a great vehicle.
thats no enduro bike. its a tank. if that thing fell over onto soft ground it would sink

Got the 12GS (the HP2's is lighter but only 5hp more) but my 250 WRF with only 30BHP would whip its aass on the technical stuff
Luv em both but there are horses for courses (maybe MX course but ain't into that shite)

Same 2 me
My father is riding a Bmw gs 80 r since ever
and I´m riding a Yamaha Enduro myself.
But Bmw Enduros are not just heavier, they´re even a bit ugly I think ( At least the new Gs models)

Now look at what Mr Chris Pfeiffer can do on a HP2...it definitely NOT a problem of the bike! :)
