i fish myself and love it, and i fish for marlin on a regular basis, but i throw them back for a few reasons. 1. someone else will get a chance to enjoy what i have caught. 2. they are quite rare, especially the larger ones.and 3. there are many smaller fish out there that taste much better than marlin. These men are killing some of the rarest and most beautiful creatures in the world for nothing more than a fucking trophy. A marlin that size woulds have way to much mercury in it anyway.
