  • great stero song

  • East or West, Charlie's the best!

  • He sang this great!

  • I love this version of this song, but haven't heard it for years. I've always wondered, what's up with that guy going AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH in the background after the steel solo? I used to wonder if there was something wrong with the tape I had.

  • what a dude!!!!!

  • Someone asked for the chords to this song, they are G C and D or D7 Key of G

  • Charley Pride is one of the last links to a traditional era of Country music. Thanks, Charley, you are still one of the best!

  • I have this record & love this song, even had Lloyd Green autograph it, who played steel on it.

  • I wish we had more C Prides in the business today

  • My friends grandfather earl green wrote this song

  • charlie pride does an amazing cover of this dave dudley classic

  • charlie is an american icon. a true original. the IN PERSON lp is better than at folsom prison by johnny cash. if country got any better than this, i don't want to hear it.we need a return to his brand of country

  • they don't make em like this anymore.

  • One of the great Country voices of all time.

  • any charley pride fans have my love is deep my love is wide would love to hear this song again thank u

  • Charlie Pride was bigger then "Michael Jackson" in days gone by, well he was to us "country folk" working up a sweat, only to get back in the "old rig" and crank up the cassette player to sweet sounds of Charlie Pride. I better not hear you bad mouthing this man, or i swear to god i will torment you in your dreams!

  • cassette?8track 1977 kw 1693 425 cat. I'll show you black smoke and tail light's. have a good one ebaysux

  • hmm well im not 100% on what you mean there, but yes cassette was how i first heard CP and fell in love with the "feel" of his music. You could always get more work done when you had some sweet tunes to listen to. I mostly drove either a Panther 325 Steiger or the old Albion "grain truck" to and from the silo, spent hours listening to CP.

  • ebaysux. just ment that 8 tracks were before cassetts.we had 8 tracks in are trucks.there is alot of truth in this song.I do mis the old days of trucking. alot of drinking and having fun. beanpot bar in phoenix, the pony in fenton mo. gg's in in federal way wa. just to name a few.

  • Ahh yup well i don't think i ever had an 8 track, could have been but i'm pretty sure is was more like 15-20 with about 10 on each side (played one way, then turn it over and basically play it in reverse.
