  • man very nice collection of effects and very nice sounds!!!you have eric johnson like sound but with a tele (very interesting)!!!can you tell me how did you choose which pedals you looped on NS 2 supressor?why didnt you put the chorus and delay in the loop too?I m building my pedalboard on this pedaltrain and your help would be very usefull!thanx in advance...well done again!

  • Great demo, i've watched this loads of times and finally got inspired to upload my own. You've got some great tones going there

  • To get those swells, is it necessary to have both delay pedals going? I have a DL4 and a Carbon Copy (and if I could get a MicroPog) I wish I could get those swell tones.

  • is that a fender hot road deville??

  • hey guys, need help. how many compact pedals can the boss ns2 power up???

  • @vincerebrus hey mate...as far as i m concerned, i power up about 3 boss pedals without problem with the NS2!I don t know if it can handle more but why not...

  • HEY SOUNDS GREAT!!! I was just wondering why do/did you have the red tape on the wah?? was it for better grip? does it really help?

  • I love the EHX Pog in conjunction with the delay, volume, and the Boss reverb. Thanks for posting man!

  • is that a picture of Satch above the chair in the top left corner of the screen? haha. niiice

  • 4:37 = the sound of heaven.

  • hey man what are the settings on your pedals when you do your swells? i currently have a dd5 and rv5 and will soon be getting a dd20 as well along with a memory man, i found them all extremely discounted so that's why a noob is buying them :P i've played for a while but on acoustic so electric along with effects is new. what settings are best for swells? i was thinking a high feedback with a backgroud analog on the memory man, then higher repeats on the dd5 and long verb from rv5?

  • Well done man! a very thorough, practical yet straight to the point pedalboard demo. I actually just clicked this video to check out and gauge the 'human foot to floorspace' size dimensions of the 'pedaltrain pro' as i'm torn between purchasing a '2' or a 'pro'. Anyway, i've decided it's a little too big as i may never get to play Madison square gardens, but nevertheless, i really enjoyed your effects demo, thanks.

  • 2500$ worth of pedals wheeeewwwwww

  • hey i really like the tremollo from Boss, i though it sucks, it surprised me

  • Your a really good guitarist man, nice one:)

  • 4:36 whats the chord progression?

  • I ment with crapy sound your camera. not your board...LOL

  • Hi, Nice pedalboard, really great sounds! I saw that u were using a ernie ball volume pedal. do you like the sound? Have you ever tried a goodrich volume pedal is way more transparent. (I like transparend :D) great board, great video, crapy sound, nice soks! keep up the good work! (y)

  • Hi Andrew, very nice looking set up. Rock it! ZVEX

  • Hi, what is your Zvex's settings?

  • Você tocando é legal, mais parece que colocaram um fone na privada, ai o cara ta cagando e peidando .

  • Wow, zvex sounds great!

  • ugh i love the ending part, what are you doing with the dd-5 in the part?

  • man your mic is a piece of shit, its like shit comin out of a infected cunt.

  • How did you manage to get your pedals so close together? I can't do that because my patchkabels are in the way :s

  • how are you powering the micro pog? just by using a 9v input on the pedal power 2?

  • @tubescreamer How did you velcro down your crybaby? I'm having a hard time getting it really solid with the screws in the way. I mean, I have it velcro'd on, but there isn't a flat surface underneath. Please let me know descriptively or private message me a picture/diagram. Thank you so much, and keep up the crazy awesome ambient stuff!

  • @lordsrawker i think i had a piece of cardboard screwed onto the bottom. i sold that pedal a long time ago though.

  • @tubescreamer Cool. Those aren't conducive to pedalboards at all, though. I use mine for long delay riffs. Also, do you take the rubber off of Boss style pedals or keep them on?

  • @lordsrawker I just ripped the feet off, then cut down the screw a bit

  • i want everything on that board minus the wah, cos ive never like wah, but the rest is simply awesome, and played like a pro

  • ok i have to know, WHAT CHORDS WERE YOU USING AT THE END IT SOUNDS SO AWEOMSE

  • tight pedalboard!

  • Do you run your delays, chorus and revierb into a FX loop or in the front end?

  • i want everything that you have !!!!! nice board, nice playing man

  • i hate you , ritch boy D:

  • congratulationes very good set i really mean it

  • Hey man nice playing I'd love to hear the micro pog mixed with the zvex fuzz or tube screamer????

  • Nice setup! it sounds great. How much would you say it costed you over all? 4:40 is badass

  • the crybaby is ssooo sick!!

  • Really nice setup.

I'm actually in the market for an AC15, but I'm looking for a smooth jazz fusion tone, ala Greg Howe or Andy Timmons. Would you say the BB Preamp, through the AC15, with maybe some compression and reverb/presence could achieve saturated-squishy-overdrive?

  • Hey Andy, i was wondering if you do remember the settings of your Fuzz Factory,

I got one myself but i cant find out the how to get that sound without the self oscillating?

    Hope to get an answer,

    Cheers.

  • I love the tone on the last 30 seconds or so of the video. Very cool and spacy.

  • why hav 2 reverb and delay peds

  • hey man are both amps EQ'ed to sound the same volume wise or are you using one of them primarily?

  • Amazing songs i want your pedal board!

  • Oh my god thanks for your video!

  • that was money! thanks!

  • i just 4 f in cabinets in uno days motha truka yee dawgi *translation o my gosh i just got 4 amps in 1 day p.s. WHERE DID U GET THAT PEDAL CASE!! I MUST HAVE IT!!\

  • i just 4 f in cabinets in uno days motha truka yee dawgi *translation o my gosh i just got 4 amps in 1 day

  • sounds very good man!

  • Your videos are awesome. Great board man

  • my amp is a Fender Pro Tube Twin 100 Watt, so what three essential pedals would you recommend to add to the rocktron and the ernie ball, (guessing chorus, delay and maybe fuzz or distortion or compression......yada yada, see my dilemma? I don't want to get carried away just looking for the most bang for the buck, and I figure 3 more pedals should do me fine)i am either nixing the rp355, or save for use only in pa applications or recording/practicing.

    Thanks :)

  • Great setup you have there. I wonder if you can impart some advice my way. I want to know what you recommend as, say three "essential" pedals. I currently have an ernie ball wah, and a rocktron sonic glory, I like the wah after the overdrive, sounds smoother. I have a digitech rp355, but it really doesn't do any justice with my amp, I have been using it in the effects loop mainly for chorus and delay in stomp mode (I also had the wah in the effects loop before the rp355 and that sounds good

  • Wow, that Fuzz Factory pedal is unreal. Very nice video. Keep it up!

  • Niiiiice dude! I really dig the setting on your fuzz factory, not a wacky drive, a breathing beast is what I've heard.

  • Oh. My. God. The Zvex is a sweet pedal. Fact. Standard. But what were you're AWESOOOME settings please? :)

  • why don't you put the fuzz through the Ns chain? also in the NS chain, do you keep it (the ns) engaged at all times? also do you use your modulated effects through the fx loop in the amp? J

  • 4.32 is amazing

  • omg that micropog + delay = WIN keep rocking man!

  • Sounds great! What are you using around the 5:00 mark? Is that the EHX pedal?

  • you sound like Joe Bonamassa

  • How are you powering all of your pedals?

  • @6Zach26 2x Voodoo Labs PP2+

  • @tubescreamer Wait you use two? Is that because you have too many pedals? How many pedals can one support? Thanks :)

  • @tubescreamer basically what is the capacity of one pedal power 2 plus?

  • @tubescreamer

Do those 2 Voodoo Labs PP2+es fit underneath the Pedaltrain Pro?

  • @2004otto yes.

  • Lol...2:30 Sounds Like A Whoe new world from Alladin...Sorry... Love your sound though Amazing!

  • Holy crap, dude, that boss RV-5 is amazing. I'd like to toy around with one of those, my DD-6, and one of those EHX Freeze pedals.

  • Can u run the dl4 using 1 output on the voodoo power supply or does it need two outputs because I know that the dl4 needs 18 volts? Thank you very much and this was an awesome vid, great board.

  • You have a wide range of style id have to say the ambient stuff is the best but it sounds kinda cheesy if u know what I mean...

  • what's the settings u have on the pedals for the last bit on the video?..

  • Wow, this is really cool. How much do you think it cost you for all of those?

  • aladin music @ 2:30 :)

  • I've checked this video about 50 times just to hear your setup. it's frikkin' amazing.

  • Damnit! I know the video is uploaded, because it shows in my uploaded videos, but I managed to clear the list of selectable videos to respond with. How do I get them back in that list?

  • How do I reply with my video? DOH!!! I've never done this before.

  • Comment removed

  • I'm uploading something now. It's going to take awhile. :P

  • Here's what I got going on now. I really like my 808 mod TS-9, which is what I use for main distortion, but I also have a modded Boss MT-2 for a different dist effect. My latest addition is the Morpeus Drop Tune, which I really love now! That puppy is sweet! I have the old Arion SAD-1 stereo delay which I think blows away anything boss had created as far as reverb and delay. It can be used for both, easily. Damn, it won't let me post a link to the pic!

  • I guess I'll have to post a vid of it....

  • excellet job man.......grateful for the explanatory video

  • what amo do you recommend running stereo with vox ac15h1tv? fender reverb, fender deluxe, marshall, fender princeton?

  • @vgw1971 Welp. I had an answer then I saw you said Heritage series. Shoot. Umm do you run it clean? If so I'd go with like a marshall or matchless. Also check out Jackson Ampwork, and Stulce.

  • Hello, please tell me, what model jim dunlop crybaby wah you used? the model number, let me know, thanks.

  • Cool demo:) I'm about to buy the volume pedal but there are so many types of them that I'm not shure what should I choose.. :)

  • @AbandonedMind I got rid of the holy grail a while before i got the blueSky... and i've not tried the El Capistan...

  • What dyna comp is that? How come yours has that sweet blue light and not the others? Did you put that in yourself?

  • @coolness7 it's a standard dynacomp, but was modded before i got it.

  • dude, u have my ideal pedalboard, thx for the demo man!

  • Sir, that is a very mature pedalboard and tasty playing for your age. I was very surprised at how tasty your choices for effects and notes were! keep it up kid!

  • 4:39 - 5:36 man that was fucking AMAZING! really! good job man! and nice demo btw =)

  • what's the model of the crybaby?

  • Amazing, seriously!

  • your tone is insane, nice playing too

  • Very very nice man!!you're a good player!!nice pedals..I'm a guitarrist from Brazil!!..I like your sound!!HEHEHE

  • ohh man, good sounds!! have a fender hot rod? ht rod for me, has a good clean, but not good when i use thre crunch of the rat proco for example. Solution? i asked to george barcelona for an amp with a cream clean and without effects. No distor, no reverb... nothing. Thanks for upload videos! very nice gear

  • greetings, could you figure out the bb preamp more? that sound is amazey dude..!

  • Damn fine rig. What are you using for the board itself?

  • @KipperBlatsy "i just got my new pedal-train pro with a hard shell case in the other day..." u watch the video?

  • I need help can't get a good solo tone at decent volumes. Im using a hot rod deluxe hendrix fuzz, fulltone fulldrive at low volume I get good dirt sounds but once live and I have to durn up a bit I cant seem to get enaugh dirt. Will a volume pedal help me?

  • @RachelleLang1 If you set it up properly yes. What you want to do is increase the levels on your pedals and place the volume after the pedals. Back off on the volume and for solos roll it in.

  • bad cable?

  • The last part starting on 4:37 is the best... beautiful tone!

Hey Tubescreamer or Andy or not Andy... Can U make a video with DD5? Explaning good tones that I can get with this pedal... Not too many have this pedal these days...

    Cheers!

  • Nice setup man! I'm jealous! :) Hey, how do you avoid signal loss with that big setup?

  • 4:00 and beyond is amazing, congrats

  • @sauliwasadiver I would recommend the Rv-5 one of my friends are using it for that genre, and he think it is awesome, and im gonna buy one myself ;)

  • Do you remember the settings of the fuzz factory? :)

  • Awesome man!! Really great... could you please explain me how you mix the DD5 and the other delay? That sounded really good to me... thank's a lot dude... keep on rockin'...

  • that is really a great tone. I LOVE the tele...

  • you wire is not good

  • @styfanylopez you english is not good?

  • @tubescreamer hahha briliant

  • thats truely inspiring bro thank you best regards!

  • that ambient stuff is AMAZING!! good work!

  • y do u spend all that money if your amp has those effects

  • @misterfuchie that's funny

  • @tubescreamer Seriously though, why do you? So you can switch in the middle of songs? Sorry I don't know much about pedals :/ could you tell me though? Much thanks :)

  • @StevenDeedle not to speak for him, but if I had to guess, and this is the same reason I'm getting rid of my pre-set laden amp in favor of a big pedal board, is partially what you said about switching between songs - especially for more complex songs and effects combos. Also, there's a versatility in pedals, mainly because of all those little knobs you see, that allows a more precise crafting of tone. Preset effects, you're stuck. With the right pedals, you can craft your dream tone.

  • @tubescreamer AHHHHH bwahahaha thats great

  • @misterfuchie when your playing live you don't have time to stop and turn dials and try to get the sound you want. I used to play with one multi effects pedal....thought i was saving a bunch of money...used it once gigging...now i have my old setup like this...this is the only way to go if you plan on playing in a band.

  • Are you using the Fender or the Vox amp?? I'm a bit confused.

  • @davidmwonga yes

  • wow!! very cool ending!! would you mind telling me how you route your signal!? :D

  • Really great job guy, as well for your pedalboard as your guitargame =)

Just one thing forgot is a flange or phase pedal probably =P

I've a question : What is the last pedal you use in the video ?

It isn't à fulltone wah, is it ?

(sorry for my English, I'm French, hope you still understand !)

  • MAn! with that setting at the last you could play "where the streets have no name" with a full band and a second guitarist nice showe gaze stuuf!!

  • whats ur setting for your dd-5??

  • I love going stereo! sooo fun hahaha

  • what do you use to power that thing?

  • What do you use to help with signal drop off?

  • Is the boss RV-5 set to the modulation setting?

  • @fishqwer yes.

  • Cool video! I particularly like the EHZ Micro Pog. I'll be checking those out!

Can I ask you for some advice please? Can you suggest a sequence of order for the following pedals? I've put them in a rough order but I would appreciate your input.

Noise Suppressor, Tuner, Blues Overdrive, Classic Tube, Chorus, Phaser, Digital Delay. To this sequence I want to add an Acoustic Simulator and an EQ700 but where?

    Thanks in advance.

    A.

  • @56Ashman Tuner first, noise suppressor last unless it has a loop (like an ns-2) then put it after the tuner with the noisiest pedals running the loop, drive pedals should go low gain to high gain (acoustic simulator first, blues overdrive, classic tube), eq right before or right after drive, depending on how it sounds best to you, then the chorus and phaser (again, whichever order works best for you) then finish with delay.

  • wheres ur super hardcore boss mt 2?

  • Is that Tape on the Wah because the Wah plastic is kinda sticky? I seem to have my leather shoes get stuck and pull it back whenever I take my foot off. I was wondering if tape fixes that.

  • @TheLoneAdvocator no, it was just there to look cool.

  • @tubescreamer ah! haha. I always think there is a practicality, but sometimes that practicality is "looking badass"

    Nice.

  • very nice...I have the Pro too that I just bought....how do you deal with sticking wahs and volumes onto the rack using the velcro?...they have rubber feet.

  • @deepblue1963 i took them off.

  • Okay, now I have to ask as a pleading musician. What did you have your ZvexFF set up to? I can't work mine. anything above Big Muff simplicity kills me. I could sit for years and fiddle with the sounds. That tone was killer though. Really mid heavy, which I didn't think the FF was capable of (had mine for a few months and still messin with it).

  • Dude!! Your sound all together is pretty amazing! Nice video.

  • dude, what was the RV-5 setting on? I know it was a while ago, sounds awesome

  • Comment removed

  • awesome board dude. can you demo or maybe just explain the dl4's stereo delay? i know its got a stereo delay but only mono out and ins right?

  • @ibjamin247 no, it has stereo ins and outs.

  • WOAH! THAT FUZZ FACTORY BLEW ME AWAY!!!

where did you get and how much please????

  • What were the settings on the tubescreamer for the boost?

  • hey dude, about the las effect (the organ cathedral effect) what was your setting for each pedal? and do you think i can simulate something like that with less pedals? maybe just delay en the volume pedal?

  • @averivera it was his micro pog that did it. A micro pog adds an octave sound to it and gives it the dual tone. You should be able to get something similar to that effect with just the pog and a good delay both set properly you may just have a problem getting a longer sustain and wont be able to layer it with out another delay or reverb which in my opinion sounds more ambient. hope this helps

  • How do you play both amps simultaneously like that??

  • @stul9045 the last pedal in my chain has two outputs to send cables to two different amps.

  • @tubescreamer Awesome video. Your my kind of guitarist :) Do you by any chance play for a church band? Anyway isnt the dl4 enough. What does the boss delay do? great board man. Take care

  • you have an incredible setup here. i'm really looking into several of the pedals you have running here, a pedaltrain pedal board, and ac15 and a tele, so this video did wonders for me... You gave me everything i was looking for! thank you!

  • very good video explaining... and so good pedal board!!! congratulations

  • are those all run in the front of the amp? just curious about some of your gear choices-surprised to see some boss pedals on there--I understand about the rv5 because of the mod reverb, but the trem pedal? why the dyna comp and not the keeley 4 knob?

  • Lovely sounds. I'm wondering if you could give me some advice on a nice compressor setting? You have yours sounding nice and tight.

  • realy nice sounds! congratulations!

  • man i love your board!! wish i can get one soon... saving up! Nice licks you got man!!!

how much did you spend on your pedal board??? looks like 2 grand? or more

  • when that fuzz factory kicked in my face melted

  • ammm ammm and whammy digitech:S

  • @andresrock1 no whammy for me, thank you

  • those swells were beautiful man.

some nice gear your got there too!

  • @29396 thank you!

  • pedalpower is the power supply u use right?

  • @dansterwerecool yep, two of them.

  • Awesome demo, thx for posting.

  • @Gift0fG0D you are welcome!

  • do u have two power supply? amd how did u rack them on the pedal train thanks!

  • @Mrbegals yes, and they are mounted underneath with the mounting brackets that come with the board.

  • hey do you have two power supplies? you have more than 8 pedals for one of the voodoo lab.

  • @Mrbegals yes.

  • what do you mean used correctly??

  • do you know if all pedaltrain boards come with velcro? what do you think about buying the 1 spot to power up the pedals since the voodoo lab pedal power is so expensive? voodoo lab power pedal: 180$ powers 8 peedals Power all PA95 powers 11 pedals: 40$

  • @Mrbegals the 1 spot works well if used correctly...

  • @Mrbegals the pedal power does more to give you clean power and keep everything silent. the one spot works well in situations with low power pedals, but i prefer to know that everything is isolated and not daisy chained.

  • That fuzz is savage. Do you ever use the amp's dirty channel, or just pedals for od/dist?
