And some metal songs have such a varied composition that you may compare them to classical music. "In the shadow of our pale companion" for example which is dark metal. Yeah, I do listen to metal and to all different sorts, like doom, death, black even power but I also listen to some alternative music. Well, playing only some parts with guitars and drums also gives a lot of possibilities.. but the violin gives you this unique, superb, delicate and subtly dramatic feeling when played slowly. i have to agree this cover although it isnt to my taste does well meet up to the originals style while still being suitably different i understand that there are many bands who are more about profit than music but even jamiroquai who is a more pop act now just cut short a 6 album deal to get out of the more pop culture of 3:30 MTV BS and back into creative control of their music and in doing so could lose quite a lot of profit and album sales
