serious skills :) i own a 72 that im cutting up into a pickup . people think its a crime to cut them up lol i say im saving it from the scrap yard :) get a bug then make it your own
The cars you used are as I can see an "Ovali" and a so called early "Bretzel" Bug. These are really gettn really rare man!! Next time you find one of these, restore it original please!
There's no Ovali parts at all in this car. The rearwindow is actually made from a cut up and rewelder -64 squarewindow. The "Bretzel" window is infact 3/4 smaller than the real thing. But there is 3 pieces from a -51. Those are the narrow slip of the roof above the front window and the front quarterpanels that are originally -51 rear quarterpanels.
All bodyparts are from cars that were totally scrapped from the begining.
I shortened my bug in half. you sit in the back seat lots of hours. I don't even want to think about how much time you spent cutting and welding. A+++++++++++++++++++++
You are a goddam genius with a welder my friend! I can't wait to see the finished bug, mind you I noticed the karmon front clip in one photo so I think this is not your first attempt at rod building
